The scent of cloves and oranges wafted through the room. She turned her face to the perfume and inhaled deeply. The spicy aroma signaled that he wasn’t far behind. Her anticipation level rose. A soft sigh escaped her lips. The warmth of the room put her in a languid state. The velvet of the comforter beneath her caressed her skin. I know he’s coming soon. Is it so horrible to want him to be here sooner? I crave him every second of the day. The bouquet of the citrus and earth drew closer. The increase in the fragrance made her wet. Her heart picked up a few beats. She drew in a breath, savoring the scent. A cold blast of air slid over her body. Her skin prickled from the introduction of his presence in the room. The ache of her expectation wound along her nerves, and it took all she had not to strain against her fetters and mar her skin. He liked her to be perfect every time he came to see her. Bare and naked. Silent and compliant, waiting for him. Always waiting for him. It was always about pleasing him. That was what she had been told since the beginning. That was what she had agreed to. All for him. All because he made her feel like no one had before.

“Hello, lovely one,” he said, purring against her ear.

His hot breath blasted against her neck. A coil of yearning unfurled inside of her. This was what she craved. Her time with him was precious. They had so little of it together. Everything he did only brought her more pleasure. His fingertips trailed over her belly, making her squirm. The tips of his sharp nails pressed into her skin ever so slightly, alerting her to the pain they could cause if he chose. Tonight she hoped he would be gentle. Sometimes he made her scream until her throat was raw from the orgasms he brought her. Other times he would be cruel, winding her tighter and tighter, leading her to the precipice of ecstasy and then leaving her wanting. She hated it when he was cruel, but knew there were times she just had to be punished.

Valerie knew better than to respond to his haunting voice. The last time she did, he had hit her ass with a studded paddle until she cried for mercy. For a moment, the skin of her buttocks burned from the sensory memory of the paddle. The joy of disciplining her was what had made the experience worth it. The pain faded away from her thoughts when he slid his finger over the satin blindfold that obstructed her view of him. The desire to see him gripped her soul. She’d never been permitted to glimpse his face. It was only his touch, smell, and taste that she was allowed. They had agreed, when he started coming to her, that he would be the one to set the rules. He governed her world while they were together. She had consented to all of his requests and never thought twice about it. When they were together, she became his. The only problem was that she never knew when their rendezvous would be.

The bed depressed from his added weight. His body heat warmed her naked flesh. The pad of his thumb glided over her bottom lip. Everything in her ached to suck it into her mouth and taste him, but she remained motionless.

You remembered. Good girl. Maybe this time I won’t have to beat you.”

Forest of Bones

[image error] Available at Amazon

Kaya is the only one of her kind: a hybrid vampire and magician. A demon from days past is trying to free its banished brethren from the dark realms by an ancient sun god. Kaya is the key to freeing them.

Valik, her vampire protector, must help her contain the demon. Stavros, the mortal king, will kill any vampire he comes across because they caused the death of his wife and son. Begrudgingly, he takes Kaya as his fiancé. To stop a war, Stavros must join forces with the very thing he hates and keep the demon at bay.

Old ghosts are stirred up. Magic is growing wild. Mysteries from ages past resurface revealing more questions about Kaya’s heritage and how she’s entwined with the demon. Can she reconcile the past?

Or will the demon claim everything she holds dear, including her soul?

EXCERPT

“I thought you’d be a little crispier by now.” Her captor entered, carrying a mug.

Kaya licked her cracked lips as her body ached for any kind of liquid. He held a leather bundle underneath his arm. She locked her gaze on the cup.

His brows furrowed. “You want this?”

She nodded.

He set the bag down, brought the rim of the cup to her mouth, and tipped it back. Water passed her lips. She gulped down the few swallows he allowed before he took it away.

“You are a mystery.”

“I’m not what you think I am,” she forced out.

Stavros smirked. Her death was already written in his eyes. “You’re a Vyrkola. I kill all of those who cross my path. Before I take your heart, you’re going to tell me what I want to know. My chancellor says you’re rare. I don’t care if you’re a Vyrk with magic or not.”

He studied the parcel he had brought with him and pulled out a small silver dagger. He dragged the blade across her skin but didn’t cut her. “This has been in my family for centuries.”

“Use what you want on me, but I can’t bring back whoever you lost.”

Anger flashed in his gaze. He slashed her cheek.

Kaya bit her lip from the sharp pain.

“One more thing out of your mouth that isn’t an answer to my questions, I’ll take your eye. Do you understand? I don’t need you in my head.”

Unlike her clansmen, she didn’t possess the ability to hypnotize others. The sun beat on her back.

Stavros grabbed another implement from the leather bag. He placed the contraption on her chest and positioned the corners over her breasts. Once he found the right spot, he punched the corners into her flesh. With each pound, she winced, until a small cry left her lips. He selected another piece and attached it to the device over her heart.

“You’re going to answer questions to my satisfaction or I’m going to use this tool to remove your heart. The blades separate the skin and muscles until I get down to bone. Then I have another piece that cracks your rib cage. After that, I slowly break your ribs until your heart is exposed. If I don’t like your answers, I’m going to widen your chest a little bit more each time. Do you understand?”

“Yes.” She would die regardless if he took her heart. The only difference he would notice between her and others of her kind was that her heartbeat.

“Good. Why did you warn me about the Thrall raiding party?”

Kaya closed her eyes and drew in a breath. “I saw you and your men kill the Thrall soldiers and sneak into their camp. I was curious. I followed to see what you had learned in the Thrall tents. They’re also raiding our villages and killing the people under our protection. The Vyrkola have no love for the Thralls either. I hoped we might share information.”

“Liar.” He turned a crank on his device.

Searing pain speared her entire body. Kaya screamed.

Mirabelle’s Ghost

[image error] Available at Amazon

Mirabelle marries Charles and soon discovers he’s a philandering prick, but that’s not his only secret. After he leaves her alone in their chateaux to attend to his business affairs, she encounters a ghost hunting game in the woods.

Hunter know Charles quite well and is happy enough to reveal his old friend’s dark side in exchange for Mirabelle’s affections.

EXCERPT

My name is Mirabelle Devereaux, and I was married to a man I did not love. Our marriage was an arrangement of sorts, and my husband did business in many villages and towns across the land. Once he brought me home, I understood that all of this was an illusion for his benefit. Charles did not know the meaning of loyalty. I’ll wager he had a mistress in every village he frequented, and I’m certain he chose new ones as his tastes required. He was a handsome man of the charming sort, well able to sweep many an unsuspecting virgin off her feet and defile her with his extensive wisdom in the art of lovemaking and flattery. I should know. I was not immune to his wiles prior to our wedding, nor had I known then what love truly meant.

But I get ahead of myself. Let me tell you of how I came to know the vagabond of a man who stole my heart and so many other things. It was spring, and the fields were being sown with seeds by the migrant workers Charles had hired. I could not want for any material thing, but having been alone most of my adult life, happiness as little more than a lover eluded me. I longed for the company of a friend, a confidante. I knew three days after my wedding that I had found no such thing in the arms of my husband. On that pleasant spring day, distraught at having discovered that Charles would journey north on business that evening and be gone for God knows how long, I left our house to go for a walk in the nearby woods.

I hoped to take in the cool air and calm my frantic heart. I was angry, and what new bride wouldn’t be? One marries to have a husband, not a business partner. Unfortunately, I came to realize Charles saw me as just that. I knew my way around the trade markets, having managed my parents’ estate after they passed. I knew how to keep books and tallies in order. He had married himself an accountant, albeit, as he said, I was much nicer to look upon than his prior accountant, and more pleasing in bed.

The cool breeze brought me the scents of the forest, leaves and fresh earth. I strolled along and tried to hold back my tears. I was a fool and knew it now. Somewhere in the depths of the woods, a gentle lull from a stream called to me. I journeyed toward that sound, dressed as I was in a gown too fine to be traipsing around in the wilds. Leaves and bits of forest loam clung to the hem of my full skirt. A stag darted from the bushes beyond, startling me. I saw him for the first time, a man dressed in commoner’s clothes, brown breeches and a simple shirt of unbleached cotton. He had jet black hair drawn back with a length of leather and a well trimmed beard. He pulled taut the string on his bow and let loose.

I followed his aim and watched as the stag went down, toppling with a crash in a stand of berry brambles.

“Oh!” I shouted.

The man nodded at me, grinned, and trotted away to retrieve his prey. Something in my middle clicked. As I watched this man stride away, his broad shoulders swaying and his small buttocks barely disguised by the leather covering it, lust had come over me. I fanned myself but did not look away.

Possession: Devil’s Tavern 3

[image error] Available at Amazon

Bruno returns to his pack only to find utter devastation. The woman he loves is all alone and there is an evil creeping in the darkness of the forest. Being a God fearing werewolf, he takes it upon himself to confront the evil and drive it back to hell.

Serena’s heart is tied to an outlaw. All her life she has been an outcast. Evil is tormenting her and the pack. Her only hope is her motorcycle riding, biker werewolf, Bruno. Together they will face their nightmares and goodness will prevail.

EXCERPT

“I-I’m a mess. How can you stand to be so close to me? I stink.”

“You smell wonderful. The past is dead now. You can make a clean start.”

She chuckled. Her deep-throated timbre stirred his desire. This was the woman he remembered. “You always were a horrible liar.”

“The Lord does not let any falsehoods pass my lips.”

“Hmm?” She arched an eyebrow at him.

Before he could respond, she gave him a sly smile, then took off through the trees. He was after her tail in a second. Serena possessed the speed, the stealth, and the strength of a wolf, even if she couldn’t switch her shape. Her anomaly was the real reason she had been shunned by the rest of the pack. They feared it would rub off on them. Terrance used her inability to shift forms against her with the pack. Her one saving grace was that she was a healer, and that was a rare commodity among any wolf pack. Her trail led to the edge of the lake several miles from the cave where they had swum as youngsters. Serena’s clothes were littered along the ground.

When he gazed into the smooth water, all he saw was her head bobbing below the surface. His inner wolf rumbled while he began stripping. A carnal urge took control of him, and he left his clothes beside hers. It had been eons since he’d gone into the water to cleanse himself and be baptized. He slipped into the water, a few feet from shore, and marveled at the beauty of the scenery. The moon above filled his soul with warm light and bathed Serena in its brilliance. The mountains surrounded them on all sides, and the stars twinkled above them. Such wonder and magnificence. How could evil find this place? How could it defile such a wondrous landscape?

He bowed his head and prayed. “Dear Lord, purge my soul of any impurities. Keep evil and harm away from those I cherish. Embrace the souls of my departed family and welcome them into heaven. Help me find the bastard who did all of this. In Your name, they all shall be avenged. Help me to see the light and not fall into the grips of the demon. Help me—”

Serena placed her hand on his shoulder. He stopped mid-prayer. In the moonlight, her ebony skin glistened now that she was clean. Her teeth flashed white, and her dark eyes glowed with desire in the dim moonlight. “What are you doing?”

“Declaring revenge on the foul creature who has taken our family from us and proclaiming my thanks for all the beauty which surrounds me.”

Dark

[image error] Available at Amazon

Revenge is a dangerous twister of fate.

Kelly has been running all her life, but now something’s caught up to her that she can’t escape from. The ugly little world she’s been trapped in for the past ten years is being whittled away, piece by piece, person by person. The monster destroying it is as much a mystery to her as he is to himself. Her only hope is to find a way to run before it’s too late.

EXCERPT

Dark. It was always dark around him. He tried to imagine what daylight would feel like again on his skin, but the fleeting memory of it only lingered a moment, and the ghost of it made him try to remember a life he had left behind so many years ago. There were times all he wished for was salvation from the hell he survived in, but there was no end for him. Never-ending, that was his existence, and he knew it, no matter how many times he tried to find a way to sever the thread of life that ran through him. Fire had licked his skin and burned away at his muscles, but when the pain left his limbs and he was barely more than a thought, his body reworked itself and he found he was whole once more with the hunger wracking his body until it drove him to action.

Driven by the starvation, the need to feed. That was his purpose and had been in those early years after the change. Time had changed him, chiseled away at his purpose, until he was not so sure anymore. There was always the hunger, but he found that, too, much like his body’s ability to rebuild itself, was something that just was. It neither controlled him nor let him have full control of his will. So when the woman stepped across his path and he heard the gentle thrum of her pulse, he both wanted to devour her and then not.

The light from the hallway glowed around her silhouette. Light. He blinked at its brilliance and growled under his breath.

“Hello?” she called softly. “Anyone here?”

He had chosen this place of hiding because, from the looks of it, he didn’t think anyone had been there in years. There was trash crumpled in the corner of the main room, and a distinct scent lingered that spoke of neglect and dust.

He supposed she was attractive or would be to the others like her. He wasn’t like them much at all anymore. Attraction really only applied to his need to eat. He remembered having sex so long ago, but that thought didn’t spark any interest in him now. The idea bored him.
Her heeled boots tapped as she walked into the main room of the apartment. “Well, damn,” she whispered to herself. “I must have the wrong address.” She kept rambling on to herself. He hated when they did that. Made them seem loony.

He sighed and figured she heard the soft sound. It didn’t matter. They never lasted long once they stumbled upon him.

EXCERPT

“Please don’t hurt me.” I hated the helplessness in my voice. All my muscles were locked in place, frozen in fear at what he would do to me. The worst rolled through my mind. Rape. Murder. Being chopped up and my body dumped into the Charles River.

“Don’t worry. It’ll only hurt for a minute. Then you’ll be one of us.” He wrenched my head to the side. A cry let loose from my lips. His fingers wound through my hair and he pulled out the scarf I wore. My mugger pressed his body against mine. He had no other weapon I could see, but I was trapped. His hot, stinking breath moistened my skin.

“Your kind has got to learn.” Another deep voice rumbled in the alley.

I opened my eyes and felt the man’s lips move away from my throat.

“My master doesn’t obey the laws. Humans are meat,” he snarled.

A guttural growl answered him. “Trenton knows better. His day will come. As yours has now.”

My attacker launched himself off me, pushing me into the wall so my head struck the brick exterior. The world grew a fuzzy around the edges. I tried to move, but my head spun. All I could do was listen to the two men fight next to me. Whoever had come into the alley heaved my attacker into the trashcans and was on top of him, holding him down. My savior raised his arm over his head. There was something large and pointed in his hand that he brought down. A sharp shriek pierced the night that chilled my bones. The scream died as a blast of wind hit me. Then silence.

Vengeance: Devil’s Tavern 2

[image error] Available at Amazon

He would do anything for love, even take on the underworld to see her safe.

Nathan has been hunting ghosts for years, always pushing the envelope looking for clues of the afterlife. His partner in spirit chasing is Josephine. They’ve known one another for a couple of years. In all that time neither of them has told the other how deep their love runs.

Josephine knows Nathan’s deepest secrets, but when her stalker finds out, he’ll stop at nothing to make Nathan one of the ghosts he hunts.

EXCERPT

Nathan resisted the urge to unleash his fangs and nip at her tongue. A shudder rolled down his back when he tasted her blood. Oh, you minx. You did that just to get me going. He sucked on her lips for a moment, savoring the small amount of her blood before he pulled away breathless. His fangs pushed against his gums, but he held on to his control. He grabbed the goblet of blood she held and drank it down in one gulp. It wasn’t human, but it did the trick, infusing him with strength after his flight. He kissed her again and stained her lips with the pig’s blood.

“Yummy.” She wiped her hand across her mouth, smearing the crimson on her flesh. “I love my pork to be squealing.”

Nathan laughed. “Well, anything would squeal at you for being so damn fine.”

Josephine closed the door and chuckled. “I take it you’re glad to see me.”

He set down the glass and then picked her up in a tight embrace. “It’s been too long, Jo. I was hoping to see you last night, but it seems you got a little sidetracked. Was everything okay? Are you okay? You didn’t answer my first e-mail or any of my calls. What gives? You shouldn’t make me worry about you. I might have thought you were getting eaten by some nasty beast or something.” He set her down gently.

She hesitated, but then gave him a seductive smile that tightened his groin. “Haunting graveyards wasn’t on the top of my to-do list last night. Can’t a girl have a little private time?”

Falling: Soul Reaper 4

[image error] Available at Amazon

Brenna thought being a vampire was difficult, but becoming an angel is even harder. Her desires run hot and cold. Everything she knows is falling down around her while she yearns for her soul mate.

Azrael forces himself to dismiss Brenna’s forlorn cries. To go to her would ignite an angelic war. To make matters worse, a dark force is rising from the bowels hell and the devil has his eye on one thing. Ruling over everything and creating a paradise for his demons.

In order to learn her new powers and save the world, Brenna must travel to the outer reaches of the galaxy and confront her inner demons. Will the world be saved? Will Brenna face the darkest evil of all? Or will the whole of humanity be damned for all time?

EXCERPT

I nuzzled his hand, understanding the feelings. I’d sensed Azrael’s mind. He’d stayed away out of love, but knowing that didn’t take away the hurt. It only dulled the pain a little. By saving me and giving into his nature, he’d instigated a war in heaven. From the looks of his scar, I surmised that Michael had inflicted it. The squabbling of angels. Maybe my needs were selfish in light of the situation, but I deserved the man I loved, especially when I would one day take my place by his side.

I couldn’t imagine what Michael would do to Azrael if they fought. Azrael was going to leave me. My heart sank. Everything I’d hoped for was in my grasp, only to be taken away again.

Azrael sensed the change in me. “Michael can kill you with a thought. Right now, he won’t. I don’t want you to die.”

“Stop,” I whispered. “Just stop. I get it. You’re going away again. Leaving me alone. I need you. I know it’s selfish, but hell, it’s time I think about me. I help everyone else. Why can’t I have you?

“I know the answer, but damn it, it’s not fair. Each day, the universe expands a little more in my soul, hardening me. And it’s cold. There are times I don’t know where I’m going. I need to understand what’s happening to me. I assumed you didn’t want me, so I buried myself in the earth to escape the pain. Sleep was better than consciousness, better than staring up at the sky, knowing you were there and not being able to have you. Do you know how that feels?”

I collapsed and sobbed. Seeing him now, when he would just leave again to stop the war, only made things worse. Azrael’s reasons were commendable, but I wanted him.

His arms pulled me close. His chin rested on my head, and his arms settled in the small of my back. I couldn’t keep him like this forever.

“Oh, Brenna, I forgot how mortal you are. It’s been so long since I was even remotely human. Until you came along, I’d forgotten how to love. I never meant to harm you. Can you forgive me everything I’ve done?”

Although her attraction to him boils her blood, something else about Dominik stirs the primal side of her.

Dominik Napier can’t keep his eyes off his gorgeous new client. Every fiber of his being craves her, but can she accept his animal nature? Christmas lights are twinkling and carols are jingling, but Lacey can’t stop daydreaming about him in nothing more than a red thong and a Santa hat.

Will the secrets she discovers tear them apart or bring them closer together? Can Lacey accept him being furry? Or will they both end up with coal in their stockings?

EXCERPT

“Still want me?” He planted his hands on the building, trapping her between his arms.

Is he daring or threatening me? Maybe both. He still doesn’t believe me. She could see the light of disbelief in his eyes. “Why are making this so tough?”

“Because I can smell your fear and see your uncertainty. That means you don’t want me.”

Lacey sighed. The frustration she felt welled up in her eyes and a tear slipped down her cheek. “I wouldn’t have come down here and waited for you if I wasn’t sure of what I desired. I’m not usually so forward, okay? You’re the big honcho around here and are used to everyone bowing to you. Sorry if I’m not that woman for you.” She tried to duck away from Dominik, but he wouldn’t let her out of the cage of his arms.

He growled. “You drive me crazy. I want you. I want to fuck you.”

She bit her lip, laid her hand on his groin, and cupped his cock through the material of his jeans. “Then fuck me. Don’t leave me hanging. You kissed me and now you’re doing nothing. Aren’t you used to getting what you want?” The temperature of her body spiked and the craving to be with him was overwhelming and at the same time being with him was calming.

“You have no idea. I’m next in line for the pack leadership. Everyone just hands me everything or they fear me. I guess it’s gone to my head. I expected you to just accept what I was. God, you’re radiant. You’re something special. I sensed it the first time I saw you. Do you know that?”

Her cheeks burned at his compliment. “No one has ever called me that.”

“They should. You taste like chocolate and vanilla.”

“That has to be the cake I had for dessert.”

“No. It’s all you.”

“Then why are we standing around here and talking. I thought you wanted me.”

“You keep tempting me, and I won’t be able to control myself.”

Invitation: Devil’s Tavern 1

[image error] Available at Amazon

Emera runs The Denizen, a place where the wicked come to be spanked and whipped. All she longs for is someone to love. When she starts receiving gifts and strange invitations, she begins to wonder who has an interest in her.

Keenan has searched for Emera for centuries. Even though he wants to barge into the Den and rescue her, he has to be sure that she is still the pure angel he remembers. If not, he will have to do the impossible.

In order to free Emera from the service of her demon lord, Keenan has to slay her Master. Sebastian is on to both of them and will stop at nothing to keep Emera with him.

Will Keenan be able to free his angel, or will Sebastian finally claim her soul?

EXCERPT

Emera slid the inner box out. It was made of hard wood, with a small gold latch holding it shut. A blue bow was neatly tied around the box. She undid the bow and opened the latch. Inside the red velvet-lined box was a blown glass dildo. She held it up to the light and admired the contours of the glass cock. The swirls of purple and blue formed a mini-tornado inside of it. The way the light caught the twists of color made her see a sword among the designs. She ran her hand over the phallus imagining how it would feel inside her. First, she’d chill it, then slide the condom on the glass and slip it inside of her. Her pussy would contract around the glass. She’d pull it out and plunge it back into her wet depths, rubbing the dildo against her clit and envisioning it was her secret admirer.

Mistress, I hope this brings you as much pleasure as it does me imagining you fucking yourself with my cock. Signed, K.

“Oh, Em, he makes me hot just thinking about him. You have to admit he has a serious thing for you.”

She glared at her receptionist and felt the burn on her cheeks. The demonic part of her half-giggled thinking about what other things it could do with the cock. She pushed the images of having an orgy with the other girls she employed out of her mind. Emera ran her fingers over the smooth surface of the glass dick before setting it on the counter. I can’t think about being intimate with one of my clients. I bring them pleasure and whatever they desire. I’m not on the menu. I really have to find this guy and tell him to stop before Bas gets wind of these gifts. Sighing, she grabbed the schedule for the night and saw she had five clients lined up. Three were regulars and two were first-timers. Her inner demon grinned at the the notion of fresh blood. Newbies. They’re so much fun to break in. I’ll peel them away layer by layer. By the time they realize what’s happened to them, their souls will be mine. Maybe before we give them over to our Master, we can fuck them. It’d be good to have a man between my thighs while we feast on his soul. The image of her on top of a client running her hands over her breasts and grinding on him while she sucked out his soul popped into her mind.
