Critique Your Clutter
When is the last time you took a good, long, hard look at your home? The thing about clutter is, overtime, it becomes invisible to us. That pile of paper on the kitchen counter – or the unfinished work on your desk – blend in with the background after a while.
The first part of really decluttering your home is to first identify the “hot spots” where it tends to accumulate. Once your have identified the “where”, it is much easier to figure out the “why” and the “how” to fix it.
Why does your kitchen counter always attract mounds of paper? Maybe the reason is because all of that paper just doesn’t have a designated home yet. By making a list of the areas in your home that have clutter problems, you can start figuring out some easy and fast solutions.
So grab a piece a paper and a pen and start walking around your home, looking for the trouble areas. While you’re at it, make note of the burnt out light bulbs, scuffed paint or other small repairs that you can do. You can download this free Clutter Critique Printable to help you get started.
