In 2021, Ellysian Press published Fate Accompli, the first book in Keith's humorous mythic fiction series, The Water Nymph Gospels. Fate Accompli was a 2021 Foreword INDIES Finalist for Best Book of the Year (Humor). Life Indigo, which is Book 2 of the series, is a revised and expanded edition of Kasper Mützenmacher's Cursed Hat (Curiosity Quills, 2017), a 2017 Foreword INDIES Finalist (Fantasy). Keith also has published short stories, one of which was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and humor pieces in Defenestration and The Satirist.

Thank you for your condolences. Losing Bay is a horrific thing. I think about her all the time, including when I write. Although I haven't written songs or poetry, I have channeled the experience into a short novel I just finished. I doubt I would have written it, or written it in the way that I did, had Bay not died. That story involves a grandmother-granddaughter relationship and the ultimately-futile lengths the grandmother goes to save her granddaughter from certain doom.(less)

I'd love to read your short novel. I've also recently written about a grandmother-granddaughter relationship. I haven't read your books yet (I just ordered CURSED HAT), but I know you've written Shoah-related material. Have you read Victor Frankl? He was a psychiatrist in the death camps. He writes of losing his wife and other family members and has suggestions for dealing with the pain. I found him brilliant.

I will be sending it to my editor soon. As to Viktor Frankl, yes, I am very familiar with his work.
