Thank you
So, the first promotional tour for Heir of Locksley is now done. I will be doing another tour, beginning in January. In the meantime, I’m going to offer up a big thanks to all the blog hosts who took part, and of course to Goddess Fish Promotions for organising the tour. The response has been amazing. It’s been great connecting with everyone and a big hi to all my new Twitter followers. If any of you who followed the tour were inspired to pick up a copy of Heir of Locksley, I hope you enjoy it.

Release Day Excitement
Having spent yesterday doing promotional blogs for Heir of Locksley, I left with my parents for a celebration dinner. I’d already received one minor shock. On happening to glance at the paperback edition on Amazon, I was surprised to see that it was out of stock. For perhaps a few glorious seconds, I entertained the idea that Heir of Locksley had sold out on its first day of release. Then I was reminded of the fact that the book is available via print on demand. In other words, it’s only printed when a copy is ordered. This means that it won’t be listed as in stock until somebody places an order. Confusing, but there’s Amazon for you. In other words, ignore the out of stock message and order anyway.
The meal went well until the very end when, on placing my fork back on my plate, I somehow succeeded in sending it flying, and doused my outfit in mushroom sauce. The fork disappeared, never to be seen again, and I sat hoping nobody else had noticed.
Today it’s back to the grindstone. Knight of Sherwood, book 2 in the Outlaw’s Legacy Series, has reached the editing stage. Imagine my frustration on learning that the book is full of black dotted lines. Microsoft word strikes again. I should point out that I’m blind, and so was not aware of this until someone pointed it out. I’m grateful they did. Better to discover it now in the editing stage. Another problem for me to fix as soon as Google tells me how.
