My story is Snowbound in Starlight Bend–Maddox Campbell rescues a beautiful woman trapped in her car in the snow and has to help her adjust to life in a small town during the dark days of December. Haley is furious to be stuck and worried she won’t make it home to Seattle in time to have Christmas with her dad, a tradition she never misses. But a hot cowboy, his dog, and his no-nonsense aunt might convince Haley that being snowed in isn’t so bad after all …
I had a blast writing this story, which is loosely connected to my Riding Hard series (Maddox is the Texas Campbell brothers’ cousin).
The whole collection is tied together with a Christmas tree in the town, a mysterious Santa, and wishes that seem to come true.

I confess this is one of my favorite all-time books. I love the dark, dangerous Alexander, Meagan not letting him get away with anything, and the Nvengarian servants and bodyguards who are all on her side. I also always enjoy the The Beauty and the Beast theme.

I’ve put together a set of my own books, a kind of a sampler pack of my paranormal romances for an initial price of 99 cents. Calling it “From Jennifer Ashley, With Love.”
Books from Shifters Unbound, Stormwalker, and the Immortals series are included. I’m doing this for readers who might have wanted to try these series but didn’t want to take the chance at regular price. The books are in their entirety, no cliffhangers!

1. Bodyguard: Butterscotch Martini Shots. Out now! The theme of this set is Bodyguards (if you hadn’t guessed). My story is Bodyguard from Shifters Unbound, which has been out for a while. The other three stories, by Calista Fox, Tia Dani, and Kayce Lassiter, are brand new.

2. Taming the Vampire. Tons of new never-before-released novellas from some of the biggest names in paranormal romance, including Allysa Day, Yasemine Galenorn, Caridad Piniero, Celia Kyle, and ME (Jennifer Ashley).
My story is Forbidden Taste, from the Immortals series. It’s a standalone–you can follow it even if you haven’t read anything else in the series. A hot vampire, Cai, has been buried in an underground chamber for 200 years, in “dark sleep.” He’s rescued by a telepath, Mariah, who has to integrate him into the present day (with its new rules for vamps). She falls for him (because–hot), but she can’t touch him or risk losing her telepathic abilities. Plus, a demon is running around causing trouble, which might be the end of both her and Cai.
I loved every second of writing this story, diving back into the Immortals world! I hadn’t realized how much I missed it! Tain and Septimus have cameos, and I’m looking forward to writing more.

And last, but not least: Holiday Heat: The Men of Starlight Bend.
Again, never-before-released contemporary cowboy romances from Jennifer Ashley, Calista Fox, Erin Quinn, Mary Leo, and Jennifer Probst.
My novella, Snowbound in Starlight Bend is loosely tied to the Riding Hard series–Maddox Campbell is the Texas Campbells’ cousin. He raises and trains horses on a ranch with his auntie, his goofy dog, and his favorite horse. My heroine, city-born-and-loves-it Haley McKee, gets herself stranded in a snowdrift a few days before Christmas near Maddox’s house. Of course, he has to rescue her.
Haley has no idea what to do stuck way out in the country, especially when Christmas is coming, but Maddox shows her what good times she can have. Plus, he’s a hot cowboy. Mmm, yeah. I kinda fell in love with Maddox. :-)
This set will release November 8, and my story will be free to release on its own I think three months later, putting it in early February.
