Doll collector
Some people may wonder why I like to collect dolls when they are “creepy.” It’s likely for the same reason that I read (and write!) those “smut” filled romance novels. Both are a personal escape and something that has given me a lot of enjoyment through the years. Both have given me wonderful opportunities to meet the most amazing people on the planet.
Just today I got a new doll from one of my favorite artists - Brenda with Eyes of Texas dolls. The special part was the August/September edition of the Dolls magazine inside with the article she wrote showcasing some of her personalized dolls. I requested one to be made of my grandma when she was younger. She also included the picture I sent of little Wanda Sue holding her likeness.
Maybe the next time someone thinks of the words “creepy” or “smut” in relation to these amazing worlds of creativity, they will remember this post. ♥️
