Jane Austen Tea Party!
In case you aren't aware, I'm part of a WONDERFUL anthology where ALL proceeds will be going to breast cancer research. This is a collection of short stories all drawn from the various works of Jane Austen. My short story is based off of Mansfield Park.
Here is the blurb:
Miss Lucy Shaw dreams of something beyond her modest village. When she gains a small inheritance, she feels as though her dreams are finally going to come true. However, after she is approached with an offer of marriage from the baronet, Sir Aaron Doyle, she isn’t impressed. This was where Aaron knew he had to tread carefully. “I don’t wish to marry you for your money. I might be a man of limited means, but I assure you that my offer has nothing to do with your recent fortune.”
