"That's Awesome!" he sighed.
Ordering 60 copies of your book
about $400...
Finding a problem after you've ordered 60 copies of your book and sent out 30 for review...
Planes, Trains and Automobiles middle-of-the-night meltdown in the car rental parking lot...Frustrating
Finding the perfect solution to a problem you didn't really believe you had or cared about and would have gotten some complaints but now you have to fix...
Fargo 20 below berserker-rage windshield-smashing I hate my father-in-law holy crap I kidnapped by own wife...Priceless

Reading and Writing
Nearly half-way through American Gods, finally losing myself in the story. (Is it sick that his wife is my favorite right now?)
Since I started writing i find it harder to get lost in the story right away. That was never a problem before.
I'm usually studying the book, looking for ways to improve, and I find myself analyzing the writer's style.
I hate it.
Do other writers have the same problem?
Anyway, a quarter of the way into Saga of the Sunslinger and I like it better than the Revelations book. I'm concentrating more on the two main characters and I like it. Also, I discovered "the character interview"...a big help. (Damn rookie, you're thinking.)
PS I've never read a blog in my life (scanned through some quickly) and probably not gonna start now. But it was recommended I start one on the hopeful-chance (it, I and/or my books) start to matter someday. I'm not sure what the point of mine is yet other than some mindless ramblings and a progress report from time to time.
I would tell you to stay awhile, take a load off and enjoy yourself, but honestly all I keep thinking is, you're probably a nice person...you don't deserve this...
Run! Run for your life! Go, get to da choppah!

Pangaea; The End of Days, The Chamber of Creation
I finished my first book in the Pangaea; End of Days series on July 11th, 2017. And though it contains the Chamber of Creation Novella, I decided to publish it for free separately as well.
It's up on lulu.com (epub) www.pangaeathelegend.com (pdf) and should be up on other sites soon.
Currently I'm working on the "sidequel" Saga of the Sunslinger, which will be another Novella. I'm roughly a quarter of the way in to the first draft.
This is my first standalone novella set in the Pangaea; End of Days Universe. It features Üller and Cavilla, whom you may have read or hopefully will read about in The Sunslinger epilogue in Pangaea; The End of Days, Revelations 1.
Then I will get back to Revelations Part 2.

I don't regret staring this blog but I both rue and lament it. - Philip J Fry (sort of).

I am ashamed (not really) to admit that my range in fantasy and sci-fi books is limited to Star Wars (over 100 novels…before they destroyed my universe…nothing since) and Warcraft related books (about four or five).
I’ve sprinkled a few sci-fi and fantasy books along the way and plan to start reading more, but writing will now take precedent over every aspect of my life so I can make it worth living.
I have also read many classics but my reviews (soon to be sprinkled here from time to time) and my ratings (on Goodreads) are from memory from several years ago. I used to keep a word document that had them in order, but I lost that years ago.
For now this will be a simple log of my writing escapades as I build the Pangaea; End of Days universe. And other books I hope to write along the way. ...more
