(Quick note: I did not make major scene changes to the Night Watch books. I did new edits and took out things like pesky fax machines, but if you read the books when they were first released, there is no major new information. When authors get the rights back to their books, those “rights” typically do not include the cover images, so that is why you are seeing new covers. As for the title changes? I always wanted fun titles that would link these books together.)

Night Watch Rereleases!!

Time for an update on the rerelease of my Night Watch Paranormal Romances!

I originally published my “Night Watch” books (steamy romances about paranormal bounty hunters) all the way back in 2010. Time sure does fly when you are having fun. I received the rights back to those books, and I have given them new covers and new titles. (Side note: When writers get the “rights” back–those rights normally don’t include the rights to the covers. That would be why you see so many authors putting up new covers when they are doing rereleases.)

I did MILD edits to these books to get them ready for rerelease. By that, I mean that I have not made any major scene changes to these stories. I did take out pesky fax machines and things of that nature. But if you read the books when they were originally released in 2010, you do not need to worry that new scenes have been added. The main material is the same.

When will I be rereleasing these books? Next week!! That’s the plan! And, ahem, speaking of the plan…when the first book in the series is released, I want to make it free for a few days. This way, if readers click the book and realize they have already read it, well, it was free! When I get the price adjusted and the books are at retailers, I will post to let everyone know what is happening. There will not be a preorder for the books. They’ll just release. (Or, rerelease!)

Please let me say–I absolutely loved writing these books. They were some of the very first books that I ever wrote, and they brought me more joy than I could ever have imagined.

Book Re-Release News!

New Look, New Titles—Same Classic Paranormal Romances

My Night Watch Bounty Hunter series will be re-released in April!

Originally, I published my Night Watch paranormals with Kensington back in 2010. The rights to the stories have reverted back to me, and I’m happy to say that I will be re-releasing these “classic” paranormal romances in just a few weeks.

The books have all been given new covers and new titles (I’ve always wanted to give these books fun titles that tied them together). However, while I made big changes to the outside of the books, I just made small edits to the interiors (had to get rid of those pesky phone booths and fax machines!). So if you have read these books before, the content has NOT changed dramatically. There are no big scene changes to the text.

ETERNAL HUNTER…is now HUNT ME DOWN.

I’LL BE SLAYING YOU…is now SLAY MY NAME.

ETERNAL FLAME…is now FACE YOUR DEMON.

I am not putting these books up for preorder. When the formatting is complete, I will upload them to all of the ebook retailers. The books will also be available in tradesize and print. I’ll send out a notice when the books are live. Just wanted to give you all a head’s up about the coming titles! I’m also planning to make the first book *free* for a limited time. More details will come closer to re-release!

(And, in case you are wondering about some of my other “classic” paranormal titles—I am planning to re-release my Fallen Angel series in May, and I am working on the “Midnight” books, too!)

I just posted this note on FB, but I thought it was important so I wanted to repost it here, too.

On this #WriterWednesday, I wanted to take a moment and talk to you about a topic that seems to be all over the place these days. AI. Or, more specifically, AI when it comes to the writing world.

I just want to be clear with my readers–I have not nor will I ever use AI to write my books. I also don’t use ghostwriters and will not use them for my stories.

Love my books or hate them–it’s all me. (And, of course, my fondest wish would be for everyone to love my books, but I know that just won’t happen. Not every book works for every reader, and that is ok. We are all different people!)

The words are mine. Created with blood, sweat, chocolate, and Red Bull. I put out a lot of books each year (I usually aim for at least 7 new titles), and I am able to write that many novels because I am pretty much always writing. If I’m not working on a story, I feel lost. Like I *should* be writing. Writing has always been my dream, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to bring stories to you.

I’ve been in the writing business for a very long time. I sold my first book to Kensington back in 2005, and I have not stopped writing since then.

So, this is my promise to you. A real person is writing these books. It’s me. It will continue to be me.

Guess my dad learned that lesson early on.  So he evolved as twisted killers do.
