I'm still alive!!

Hi, everyone! I apologize for the lack of blog posts this week.  I've been adjusting to my son's new school schedule (he started Pre-K) and trying to work as much as possible on my WIP (a story about a sexy and very bad Fallen Angel).

I'll be better next week—promise. In fact, I'll have special goodies to give away next week.  My editor recently sent me ARCs of ETERNAL FLAME, and I do believe we will have some giveaways! So check back on Monday for all the details.

Copy-edits, Page Proofs, and an ARC!

This week, I'm going to dive into copy-edits for ETERNAL FLAME and page proof work for DEADLY LIES. Since I'll be working on those, I may be a bit quiet.  But, while I'm being quiet, you could win an arc of my second romantic suspense, DEADLY HEAT (available in Feb of 2011 from Grand Central Publishing's Forever line).

The lovely folks at Open Road Media recently set up a Facebook fan page for me.  This is very cool to me because I'll be running special contests, putting up special videos...

Prism Awards

While I was at RWA, I was thrilled to receive two Prism Awards at the FF&P party (the Gathering).  I won a Prism for best dark paranormal romance (IMMORTAL DANGER) and for best novella (In the Dark from the anthology, BELONG TO THE NIGHT).  Thank you so much to all of the FF&P judges!  My lovely awards are now sitting in a place of honor on my bookshelves. Every time I look at them, they make me want to write more!  And, yes, dang it, I got teary when I accepted the awards.

RWA 2010 In Pictures

Grand Central Publishing's Forever line will be releasing four titles in 2011 (they had been releasing three a month).  They are looking to acquire sensual historicals, contemporaries...

Deadly Days of Summer

I'm back from RWA (and slowly recovering!), and I wanted to thank everyone who participated in my Deadly Days of Summer event.  I will be checking through all the blog posts soon and awarding any prizes that, well, have not been awarded already!
