After Hitting the Publish Button

When you published an eBook, give it like 4 days to one week before you try to start tracking it on Amazon database. And about two days before you worry about new Cover, new author name not showing up or 'Look Inside not right' after reformatting.

How to Promote and Market your eBook

Hey indie author, putting your one and only book on giveaway is not a smart move. The following guides ccall for your attention urgently:
1. What you should do now is go back to writing and add your 2nd, 3rd, .... 4th, 5th books.
2. You can then start experimenting with giveaways and other marketing strategies.
3. If you don't yet have accounts with goodreads.com and LibraryThings.com, do that like now start to build your profile with them.
4. During your giveaway or count down deal promotion, submit your eBook in marketing sites such as bookscream.com, BKnights.com, bookzio.com, and bookloversheaven.com etc.
4. Amazon campaign is also a great idea to work with.
5. You should have a blog, if you are yet to have one then go right away to blogger to claim one.
There are many more promotion ideas but you can start with these ones. Good luck!

eBook Cover Design Guide

You have to be creative when it comes to design your eBook cover.  Just as your eBook have to be truly great, so also is your eBook cover. It is the first part the buyer have contact with and it will determine if a sales will be made or not. The following tips will be handy:
1. It should portray the ebook genre and title.
 2. It should be great but simple in design and should not be clustered with two much details.
 3. Take a look at best sellers eBook cover to learn from them.
 4. It should be clean and clear even as a thumbnail.
 5. Choose your colours wisely.
 6. You can contract it out to professional eBook cover design services.
The samples below is for two of my books which are live on Amazon KDP.
