NEWS! I’ve launched a Patreon page! Patreon is a new site that allows for ongoing crowd-funding. I’ll be writing comedy blog posts as seeds for all the other comedy stuff I do. Rewards and goals include Squirrel Stand-Up, a new comedy album, a serialized CYOA type story, and learning about your own secret superhero identity. Thank you, friends and fans, for all your time, interest, and support!

Barbarian Queen 2
If you missed Barbarian Queen 1 last week at...

Barbarian Queen 2

If you missed Barbarian Queen 1 last week at Jagercon, you’re in so much luck tonight. That’s because someone looked at the late Lana Clarkson’s cinematic triumph and said, “You know, we should really make a sequel. One that has everything the first one had. All the loincloths, all the stabbings and all the toplessness.”

It’s funny how they can take a concept as vicariously empowering as a complete badass who rules over an entire horde of like-minded ladies and stabs men in the neck for crossing her, how they can take all of that potential female fantasy fulfilment, then turn it into a blatantly anti-feminist boobfest for the entertainment of taste-deficient manchildren everywhere. Not funny in the traditional ha, ha sense, but funny in the 1980s sense. Which is to say whatever the opposite of hilarious is.

Still, our weekly movie night rampages on nonetheless with the usual assortment of attractions: Late night happy hour, full menu till 10, drink specials all night and the smartest bar trivia in town at 8:30.

And that all happens this and every Tuesday night at Club Jäger, 923 Washington Ave N, Minneapolis. Home of the original Tuesday trivia night.
