A narrow path
He tried to impress me, by his body.
Along the mountains, he fell, the poor boy.
He could not make it, the pressure was too hard for him.
I saw him in the evening, you could see, he was respected.
The river cleaned the House, the Home is not clear but will be
taken care of by real masters who do not care for magical mushrooms.
The ball did not come, that far, in the road or corridor
but the sky saw a new light, boys and girls liked to be shouting.
Maturity is a word, I do not have to see, nor read or write
by bodies, souls and spirits that belong to another master.
I left it there, in the mountains, I had been looking in my mirror
and you know what, I passed it easily because the coach is my trainer.

Fool on the Hill
The fool on the hill stands on the other side.
He can’t help, being lost.
He belongs to his own side, a muddy swamp.
Blackness is all by his Sun, water of Rivers and fishes.
The eyes do not look to green grass, do not love rainbows
and are also splashed by your old desire of bend and break.
The fool on the hill was a song, it was not composed, it is the joke
of my grandfather Jan Goossens who never accepted Sir. Cliff Richard.

A real politician
I refuse him.
For doing nothing.
Ruud Lubbers, was his name.
Or, Dries van Agt, was it? Documents all over the place.
I would refuse him, to enter the country
he never belonged or believed in, where he never studied.
He never took part of the imagination between the ordinary people.
The USA also has lost someone who does not count on my counter, never.
It is good, to rape and abuse a five year young boy, spy of happiness
by your sick movies, spontaneous intentions and nice photographs.
I do not think, they ever have written one respectful and decent book.
A real politician uses balls and beer, for breakfast, and in the late evening.
A man and woman do stand and believe in real values, I do not have to think
twice, once and I can sleep in a good and proper way, not disturbed by angels.

They dance alone
I have seen them, dance in my streets
all alone and together, arm in arm without a heart.
I have seen them glance the way, the way of all ways
but no one is interested in their loving eyes in the night.
I watch them all close, nearby, day by day and no one stands
for them, with them, sheltered away, two or three corners, maybe
more than one or eleven by grey men who only care for their own line
according to their family, you call it that way, go ahead by an empty book
without letters, without numbers, without tales or fairy tales, a story
without all stories was only looked for by a lady who does not belong
to your body, mind or thoughts, not even in your memory of history
by a book that respects and guides the day after the day in my loving life.
