It is the best time to take a walk

it is the best time of the year

autumn in the evening.

When drops fall on leaves

in a dark night

with a lot of light.

It is the best time of the day

to be outside, alone

to look in the dark, to be the light.

When drops fall on leaves

in the autumn of my life

in the autumn of my love.

It is the best, the best time

of the night, to take a walk outside

alone and not alone.

When drops fall on leaves

you are with me

I am with you.

It is the best, the very very best time

to take a walk outside

when drops fall on leaves.

In deze stad vol malloten en hofjesvolk,

gajesvolk

kent men de goede smaak van het leven écht niet.

Ik weerstond de allergrootste destructie

in de menselijke geschiedenis

om 1 grote nachtmerrie te voorkomen.

Het is, dat ik zóveel van mijn nichtje houd.

When I cycled to Santiago de Compostella

when I was climbing a mountain by my own

two German men joined me.

When one of the two men was close to me

he said, one sentence of only three words to me :

“Langsam aber sicher”.

I always reminded me

during my hard and difficult moments

in my life, to the importancy of the meaning

the great meaning of this special message

that was given to me

during that one moment in my life.
