Bedenk, wel, nu, dat als mevrouw Hermans boos is,

zij zich nog altijd weet te beheersen.

Ik kom uit een sterk geslacht van voorvaderen.

Daarvan ben ik de sterkste.

Ik ben het altijd geweest.

Mijn voorvaderen heb ik zien vechten

voor hun dagelijks bestaan.

Er werd gewerkt voor de kost.

Mijn voorvaderen verdroegen hun pijn in stilte

en door stilte.

Zij waren geen marihuana aan het blowen in groepsverband.

Godzijdank, zag en zie ik

hun groots voorbeeld

nog altijd voor me.

Het is, dat ik mij graag in hen

allen

zal blijven herkennen.

Zoals zij mij

ook allen

in volledige dankbare waardigheid

hebben erkend.

Ethiek is niet besteed aan de laagste der laagsten.

Degene die zich altijd misdraagt, zal dat blijven doen.

Degene, met een laag ethisch besef, zal dit niet verrijken kunnen.

De diepgang, het begrip en doorgeven

zal menigeen volledig ontgaan.

Het is je,

aangeboren

of niet.

Ik zie de wereld.

Hoe laag de mensen zijn.

Hoe laag de mensen zijn geworden.

Hoe, zij, zich allen weten te verlagen.

Een taak die ik op mijn schouders heb genomen.

Een behoorlijke taak als ik zie hoe de wereld

en haar mensen zich blijven verlagen.

Het merendeel van de mensheid

tast volslagen in het duister

wat betreft mijn visie en haar plichtsbesef.

Een kwestie van ethiek

om een nieuw normbesef

bij te brengen, als dan

aan te brengen.
