First Book

I’m working on the final draft of my first novella. Still figuring out the title and cover, but I’m hoping to get it out there within this next week. I suck at promotion, so we’ll see how things go.

The story is dual POV. The heroine owns a small advertising agency which is being taken over by a big, bad NY media mogul. She hates him, but he lusts after her. Well… she lusts after him too.

In the process of writing, I’ve realized I’m not into the huge shocking surprises. You know what I’m talking about: the revelation that the hero had inadvertently killed the heroine’s parents when he was younger or something equally unexpected. Still, I hope readers will enjoy the emotional ride from my book.

What I’ve learned in the process is that writing is constantly evolving. And I’m enjoying the journey.

First Day

This blog is to document the adventures in my head when I’m writing. Not all of my posts will be about writing. I also love food and the arts. My brain needs to rest every now and then from the male characters trying to fight their destinies. I hope you all enjoy my ramblings.
