History retained
I love historical information. The past history is not always pretty, but it is history. Let's do all we can to preserve history, not tear it down because someone's feelings get hurt.
If we tear down one thing then what's to stop someone from tearing down another and another. We will be like the people in the prophetic "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury.
Trying to erase history is wrong. Instead, work to build a better world.

Being a Kid Again – Allow Yourself the Luxury
All through my life, I’ve lived sometimes in a “kid-like” fashion. Hurricane Harvey. The worst may yet come after waters recede.
Hurricane Harvey has brought the most flooding the country has ever seen. That’s what the news says. But what comes next when the water goes down? Maybe it’s the principal in me, but I tend to always be thinking ahead. And I know that more terrible things are to come. But before I talk about […]

A Little Humor for You.
If a bluebird is on your shoulder, zippededodah! but do you have to worry about bird poop? Here’s a great song not heard on the radio in a while: Take away the trees, and the birds all have to sit upon the ground. Take away their wings, and the birds will have to walk to […]
