Announcing: Rogue Wolf

Coming in June 2017! A scifi MM romance with space pirates and alien "werewolves" :D Picture Exiled from his home planet for loving an enemy, Vince turned to space piracy aboard the Cygnus. Disguised as a human thanks to his species' shifting abilities, Vince feels secure. But he’s not safe from memories of his murdered lifemate—or from a growing attraction to Trent Rolston, the ship’s captain, he feels honor bound to ignore.

Trent, though, is determined to prove to Vince there's nothing wrong with becoming more than friends. But Vince is surprised by his species' mating call, despite being deep in space and far from home.

Just as their relationship begins to evolve, the Cygnus comes under attack from hunters determined to destroy Vince and his chosen family.

Current Projects

My current WIPs tend to be mercurial, so I've hesitated to mention them anywhere in a concrete list, but I figure if I update periodically (once a month-ish) with what I'm working on, it'll be better than blabbing on about projects in an abstract way on Twitter alone.

For March, leading into April:

Revision of Rogue Wolf - scifi alien/human MM romance with space pirates (and aliens that are pretty much werewolves in space!) - This will be an updated & expanded re-release of the first book I ever published (under an old pseudonym) and will be my first official self publishing venture. I'm nervous and excited! I haven't set a release date yet, but I'm looking at May right now.

First Draft of Croc Blocked - paranormal MM romance between two South Georgia crocodile shifters, one of whom can't shift. This will be my primary project during April's Camp NaNoWriMo :) I'm expecting this one to be novel length.

Originally I was planning to publish Croc Blocked with NSP, but now I'm unsure where I'll take this MS once it's completed.

Coming soon: cover reveal and release info for Rogue Wolf! If you want to keep up to date as details for my books are finalized, be sure to sign up for my newsletter :D

Getting Real - Top Surgery

Usually I'm all about the fiction on my blog, but this post is about very real stuff. Top surgery is something that I've needed for a long time, but it's always been well out of reach. No matter how much I try to save up for it, something always comes up to take away what little I've been able to gather in the way of funds.

But I'm tired of the creeping depression. The restrictions placed on my life because my body is still too wrong to me. The worries about being outed at a bad time or place because my binder may be noticeable or my chest looks too thick for my build.

I'm finally getting over my pride and stubbornness and admitting that I need help if I'm going to put this final transitional hurdle behind me.

If you'd like to help me change my life in a very positive and very real way, please buy a book or check out my GoFundMe campaign :)

Thank you

Debut Novel - My Boyfriend's Back

It's finally happened! With this release, I've become... a novelist! :D

Need a spooky zombie read set during Halloween? Love magic, ghosts, and other creepy but lovable things? My Boyfriend's Back is now available in ebook and print!

Picture After losing both of his parents, Academy of Magecraft student Steven Durant doesn't want to see anyone else lose a loved one before their time. Traditional resurrection methods, however, only create mindless, flesh-hungry zombies; they're no cure for death. He's certain his unique brand of necromancy--using alchemy and blood magic--is the only answer.

When his boyfriend, Dax Everhart, has a fatal accident, Steven sees no choice but to use his experimental Lazarus Elixir. Dax comes back wrong, but the more humans he consumes, the more human he becomes.

With the help of his best friends, his ghostly aunt, and her living doll homunculus, Steven fights to regain normalcy and repair his shattered relationship with Dax. But with Dax openly embracing his monstrous nature, Steven shoulders the guilt of assisting in a murder spree that could lead the mundane and magical police right to their door.

Queer Sci Fi's Flight Anthology Releases!

Picture The 2016 Queer Sci Fi Flash Fiction anthology, "Flight", is here, and I have a story in it! It's a really cool concept:

A 300-word story should be easy, right? Many of our entrants say it’s the hardest thing they’ve ever written.

Queer Sci Fi's Annual Flash Fiction Contest challenges authors to write a complete LGBTQ speculative fiction micro-story on a specific theme. "Flight" leaves much for the authors to interpret—winged creatures, flight and space vehicles, or fleeing from dire circumstances.

Some astonishing stories were submitted—from horrific, bloodcurdling pieces to sweet, contemplative ones—and all LGBTQ speculative fiction. The stories in this anthology include AI’s and angels, winged lions and wayward aliens. Smart, snappy slice of life pieces written for entertainment or for social commentary. Join us for brief and often surprising trips into 110 speculative fiction authors’ minds.

The book us available in eBook form (4.99), and will soon be available in paperback with b/w illustrations inside (12.99) and in a special collector's edition with color illustrations (24.99).
