Headshots (2)

Headshots. Check.

Next mission:
Book reading/signing at local bookstore.

I'll wait for the new cover though to rouse more excitement for the book. I mean, fancy cover versus boring okay cover. Fancy wins.

Eidolon

I named the main country in my book Devil's Blood "Eidolon" because I thought it was a cool name. Apparently, so did a bunch of other writers because I keep finding in other fantasy books. I feel so unoriginal.

Slight Mistake...

So I went into the Creatspace project dashboard to see how complicated it would be to change the cover for Devil's Blood and sort of restarted the project. I was going to look into getting a new cover anyway, so...it'll be done until I pick one. I found a cool place online (recommended from folks here on Goodreads).

Headshots

My headsots have been taken and in the works. I'm not sure how long this "photo editing" process works, but if it's anything like book editing, it could be days or months.

Progress!

Step 2 - Join a Group. Check!

Step 1 - Get a Profile Picture - still in the works. I've got an appointment with a girl with a camera this weekend.

New and Nervous

So I published my first book. Go me. Now what? That warm fuzzy feeling of accomplishment wore off about a week ago, and I'm getting that nervous 'dream-crushing-into-dust' feeling. Part of it comes not knowing that once the book it out there, it's out there. I can't haul it back and change something. It's also relieving.

Step 1. Find Profile Picture. One that I'll be able to look at without cringing.
