Confessions of a Housewife: Things aren't always as they seem vol.1

Confessions of a Housewife: Things aren't always as they seem vol.1Confessions of a Housewife: Things aren't always as they seem vol.1
by Barbra Spencer
Being an avid reader, it is sometimes hard for me to find a “new” book or author that challenge my mind. So, it is always a real pleasure to find these little hidden gems and short stories. Ones that leave you wanting more or that are written so that you the reader can take on the role of the character that is being portrayed. On my personal scale it is a solid five out of five stars. Kudos to this author and I am patently awaiting the next chapter.

Midnight in the Pawn Shop

Deborah K FrontieraMidnight in the Pawn Shop
By: Deborah K. Frontiera
As an adult I normally don’t pick up book with less then 300 pages. But when looking for a book for my daughter… This has everything that she finds appealing. From looking at the world from the view of an inanimate object to the right amount of suspense. This is a must for the kiddies. A perfect 5 out of 5. For a children’s books I could not ask for more.

Five Star Review

Yes, it is of lite and of darke!
By Vacation Mom on November 9, 2017
Format: Kindle Edition
I was horrified at the princess' act of cruelty in the first chapter, but reading further I couldn't put the book down. The story is well explained and I imagined the fantasy lives that the inhabitants of this kingdom lived centuries ago. It felt like a real kingdom. I really want to read more from the author.

"CrossTown" by Loren W Cooper.

Crosstown"CrossTown" by Loren W Cooper.
As a fan of everything fantasy, supernatural and general fiction I’m always excited to find a new author or book. I do have to admit it took me a while to warn up to this one but once I did I quickly fell into the routine of curling up and not putting it down until I finished it. The story starts off a little bit confusing for my taste so I am hoping there is story before this one. If not, one is needed just to clarify a few things. Otherwise, it is a good read for letting one’s mind wonder. For my person reading scale a solid 3.5 stars.
