The First Post
Hi, everyone!
My name is H.L. Grey, and I am here promoting my first book, Heavenly Father. This is the first in a series of five books.
• Basics
o This is the tale of the Studebaker family of Houston, Texas. They’re basically the Borgias without incest.
o The Studebakers are settling down for dinner one night when a young orphan named Wren Rubenstein shows up on their doorstep. Father Jonny recognizes her as the daughter of his late estranged sister, who had been disowned for their abusive and religiously fanatic father for an interreligious marriage. Despite disowning his sister in order to protect his children and himself from his father’s wrath, Jonny agrees to take in Wren. Her arrival causes chaos in the home and the Studebakers to reflect on their dark secrets. But Jonny must decide if he can and should reveal the biggest secret of them all.
