"I really enjoyed this one. You can read the above description and get a little idea of what the story is about but there is much more to it. You've got a dragon queen, ghosts, a witch, and other demon like creatures. There is murder, deceit, and conniving. Some of the characters will surprise you with what they will do as a means to an end. *** Warning, it may not be suitable for younger readers due to some graphic situations, but they are integral to the plot. I've been reading the work of this author for a couple years now and she really surprised me with this one. Christmas Freebie!
Every year I put a freebie up on my website for readers to enjoy. Thank you for your responses re: Christmas story or Christmas poem. The preference this year was for a poem, so here it is. It is called 'The Spirits of Christmas.' I should stress that this is not horror, but is more in the vein of a traditional ghostly tale, albeit in poem form. . Me!
Hi all, I don't often take selfies as I generally hate the way I look in photos. but! I have just had my hair cut and coloured (to temporarily hide all of the fast-encroaching greys) and so in the spirit of modern social media, I took a selfie to show you what it looks like!
I had some subtle reds put in for some warmth and for the upcoming Christmas season. I won't get all festive on you just yet, don't worry, although there will be a free offering up soon, as usual at Christmas on So Lost in Words.
Anyway, thoughts? Opinions? Experiences? Feel free to comment as always.
