Alan Convery is a senior lecturer in politics at the University of Edinburgh. He was awarded a Ph.D. by Strathclyde University in 2014. He works on Scottish and British politics and conservatism and the Conservative Party. His first book, The Territorial Conservative Party: Devolution and Party Change in Scotland and Wales, was published by Manchester University Press in 2016.
