How To Become a More Confident You
Recently, I went to a small reunion with several of my best friends from elementary school. It’s funny how we were all different and yet the same and how we quickly picked up the familiarity we had amongst ourselves about fifteen years ago. One of my friends remarked, “You know, you were always so confident. I remember that about you.”
I reeled in surprise because I had never thought of the younger version of myself in that way. I know I’m confident now, but then…?

Saying “No”: It Can Save Your Life
Mantra Mondays
Monday will be the day of the week I write about what I’m learning in my life and hope that by sharing very personal and vulnerable ideas or situations that it will encourage you and touch you in the deepest of ways.
I did begin writing this post at 11:30pm Monday, yet it will be posted at 1:00am Tuesday. The intent was there:)

What’s the Best Book Intro You’ve Ever Read? Here’s Mine!
The character we are introduced to at the beginning is the author himself. He leaves home and secludes himself at a condo at an empty resort, thousands of miles from civilization. He begins to overlook his novel until he hears the chilling reverberations of knocking at the front door.

Listing Your Priorities Is Key to a Smoother Day and More Effective Lifestyle
You’ll hear many successful business people say that they start the day with 20-30 minutes of meditation. What kind of meditation? Thinking about their goals for the day and wherever their thoughts lead them. They pull the plug on all the surrounding noise, computers, cell phones, people, and music.

Planning a Successful Book Launch Party—Part 3
Once you’ve got the structure of the book launch party down, you can have fun thinking up of creative ways to inject your theme into the entire event. I’ll be providing examples of how I did so for each following area: music, food, decorations, photo booth, and silent auction.

Planning a Successful Book Launch Party—Part 1
I’ve been thinking about this topic a lot recently because I’m mentally preparing for the book launch party I’ll be hosting in honour of my second novel’s fall release. So exciting! Also, a good friend encouraged me to write up this kind of post for a Facebook group we’re a part of so that other authors can get some tips on this subject.
What Now?
You’ve poured your heart, sweat, and maybe some tears, into producing your first book. It may have taken two years or less. Maybe it took more than five (which was the case with me). What do you do now?
