Into the World

On Sunday, I submitted my final edited manuscript to the University of New Orleans Press. They did a ton of work on the book, tightening it up and ironing out problems with pacing and plot, and my final bits were mostly small things. Make no mistake, however: these final edits may have been small, but the ten-plus years I've put into this book involved more than a little blood on the page.    But by Sunday--there were no more edits to make (despite feeling like I could tinker with it forever).
