June 10th
So, what's everyone thinking? The same as me I suppose, it's just another day. And while it is, it's also the day my book, Above the Flames, will be free for the Kindle. The sale starts June 10th and runs for five days, so tell your friends and family and grab your copy on Amazon. Remember, it's only free starting June 10th:)
In other news, I'm almost finished editing Surrounded by Flames. After the edits, I will do one more read through and make sure it's where I want it to be. Then, I'll send her off to the publisher.
When editing, I remove as many -ly- words as I can, and I take out every single he/she said that I can and replace them with action tags. It's sometimes a daunting process, but well worth the effort:)

Community
I am a new author, but I just have to say how impressed with the writing community that I am. It's amazing to see so much support, even from authors who have never heard of me before. What a great thing to be a part of!
Sometimes, since I work in customer service, I see the absolute worst in people. It's nice to also see the best, to have something to compare things with. It gives me a completely better outlook on life and helps me stay positive knowing there are great people still out there in the world.
Now that that's said, I must go write. I've had a couple very busy weeks, so it's time to make up for the lack of writing. I'm editing book 2 and getting it ready to submit to my publisher. Hopefully soon. I only have about 20ish more chapters to get through and a little more work on the ending, but it's coming along better than expected.

Updates
Since Above the Flames is now out, I have been working hard on book 2, Surrounded by Flames. Jasmine and all her friends are back, and better than ever.
Writing is a hard business though. I have written my first draft, and now I'm going through and cutting all the words that I don't need, and adding more that I do. Stay tuned for more updates:)

Book Release and Preorder
So, I have recently found out my book, Above the Flames will be available for preorder on Amazon on April 9th:) Exciting doesn't begin to cover it for me! I can't wait for my book to be out, to see what people think about it. Of course, I'm incredibly nervous too, but that's okay.
