The Inspiration behind Just One Kiss
In a city of over 8 million people, how do you find that one perfect person? That was the impetus behind my latest romance novel, Just One Kiss.
In the winter of 2024, I visited New York City for the first time. I was equal parts awed and overwhelmed by the sights, sounds, and business of the city. Afterward, I knew I had to write a romance novel that was set there.
The two main characters, Hope and Beau, first meet in Central Park when Hope accidentally dumps her soda all over him. In a city as big as New York, she never expected to see him again. Imagine her surprise when she shows up to her first day of work at a major publishing company, and finds him there.
