SFWA Signing!
Hi everybody! This weekend I'm attending the SFWA Nebula Conference, Palmer House Hilton downtown Chicago. Friday the 13th, 8-9:30 PM is a mass signing with many of the biggest names in Science Fiction and Fantasy in the country. And me. Free copy of Paternus to the 1st few brave souls to visit my table/booth/space/corner/hovel. I'll even sign it (unless you'd rather I not). Thanks again, D

Fantasticon - Toledo
Hi Folks! For those of you in the Northwest Ohio, Southeast Michigan area, April 16 & 17 I'll be at Fantasticon Toledo selling and signing copies of my upcoming contemporary mythic fantasy novel Paternus - 2 weeks before it's May 1 release. For the first (and probably last) time I'll also have pics on hand for purchase from Night of the Living Dead 1990 and Rudyard Kipling's The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli and Baloo, and I'll be signing those as well. Ch. 5, Goodreads Giveaway, Fantasticon Toledo, SFWA Conference!

So much new to announce. Things are continuing to roll with Paternus, and picking up speed. I feel like I'm in that snowball rolling down the mountain, getting bigger and bigger and going faster and faster. A little scary, but fun too (because I'm weird that way).
Chapter 5 Now Available. This will be the last of the free preview chapters to be offered before the May 1 release - hope you like it!

Fantasticon Toledo. Friday and Saturday, April 16 and 17. I've secured the very last available table at Fantasticon, where I'll be selling and signing books, 2 weeks before they're released on May 1 (ebooks are available for preorder now on Amazon and B&N, if you are so inclined).
ALSO, for the first time ever (and maybe the last), I'll be displaying memorabilia from Night of the Living Dead 1990 and Rudyard Kipling's The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli and Baloo, as well as selling and signing photos of me from the films. Might have some other fun stuff too, digging around to see what I might find from Men in Black...

They're even letting me have a space with the big dogs to sign copies of Paternus (must not be all that picky is all I can figure) That will take place Friday night, 8-9:30 pm in the Red Lacquer room of the conference hotel, Palmer House Hilton downtown.

I am so lame. I check in here on GR all the time, but keep forgetting to post news on my blog. Still new to this whole GR Author Page thing, my apologies. (Then again you might be just as happy not to hear from me at all. In which case, my apologies as well).

Chapter 4 was posted to paternusbooks.com over the weekend. That makes 4 of 5 that are being made available for free download prior to the May 1 release date of Paternus.

Production Update:
Boy oh boy, this is getting really real now. Book interior has been formatted for print, submitted with final cover design, galley proofed and accepted for production - and best of all, a proof copy is on its way! For the very first time I'll be holding a paperback copy of Paternus in my hot little hands this Wednesday, March 16. Very excited, and a little nervous too. Once that is okay'd I'll be ordering ARCs (Advance Release Copies).
AND, as of just today, Paternus ebook is available for preorder!:
Paternus ebook is now available for preorder on Amazon, Kobo and iBooks. Print version coming soon to Amazon, and ebook to Barnes & Noble (Nook).
