Hi All,
The "Dear Sandy" Goodreads Giveaway was amazing! Three winners should have their free copies in the mail this weekend :-) I mailed them out on Tuesday 5/3 but forgot that I had to let Goodreads know so it looks like I just mailed them today. No option to select the correct date here on my Author Dashboard so hopefully the winners are checking my blog posts.
Such a great opportunity to get free books! I will have to start looking more carefully at ALL the giveaways on Goodreads!

Late and Great!
So, latest proof copy of The Poet & The Widow has arrived in my mailbox - had to change a font for everyone's sake. And the feather tattoo looked more like a black eye than a feather so that had to be altered as well. Will give it a good proofread this week and send it through one more time. Sorry for the delay but nothing but the best for YOU!

New book heading to the printer next week - better late than never, I always say! Ha! It's been an emotional ride. I said I would never write a Memoir, yet here I am on the verge of setting it to sail. Never say never ;-)

My cat is a dog
He looks like a cat but acts like a dog - he barks like a dog (I kid you not), wags his tail, runs to the door when he hears a car drive up, begs at the table, has the markings of a chow-chow in his mouth, and I'm pretty sure he was that cat that got brain-swapped with the pooch in that mad scientist cartoon! Work or Play? Can they be the same thing?
I've spent the beginning of this year working/playing to get my new author website built and onto the web - and it is exciting to be able to say "WOW! I'm there!" And all those social media sites ... it seems like they're endless ... but I am doing it! And I'm having fun doing it! So I guess it's true that working and playing CAN be the same thing!

Waiting ...
Do you love waiting? Are you patient? I try to be, but ultimately I get as excited as anyone else. Right now I am waiting for the wonderful website creator to finish building my brand new author website, and I'm waiting for my new book to be ready to publish, and I'm waiting for the biscuits (mmm...they smell soooo good!) to come out of the oven so I can smother them in raspberry jam and have them with some hibiscus tea! Waiting, waiting, waiting ... have you read my book "Dear Sandy" yet? What are you waiting for ...
