Lucifer's gift after the Great War to those who followed him was the ability to procreate, the very thing the war had been fought over. As Hell grew, The Fallen began their new lives and started raising families. The Dark Lord was no different. His Great-Grandchild, Xia Morningstar, one of the most feared and hated creatures in all of Creation was uncontrollable, but then no one tried for he was The Dark Lord's most prized possession. As great as Lucifer's love for Xia was, so in equal was his mother's hatred of her son. In Xia's eyes, his needs were simple; he wanted to learn who his Father was and the location of the twin sister, taken away at birth. As the years went by and the rift between mother, the Mesopotamian deity Lamashtu, and son grew, she devised a plan to expel her troublesome spawn from Hell. She succeeded and in doing so unleashed upon the nine Creations the most notorious creature in The Father's realms. Here continues the story of Xia and his human minion Sam as they hunt for the secrets both Hell and The Host do not want them to have.

The Family Morningstar 2
Finally, the second installment of Xia Morningstars story is ready for you guys. The proof came in a couple of days ago. Once I get it formatted it will be up on Amazon and at the Death Nail Media shop. Remember, all books are at least 20% cheaper than their cover price at Death Nail. Why Christianity
One of the most common questions I’m asked is why, as an atheist, I chose to write a series of books using the Christian mythos. The answer is complicated but straightforward. The deities of the Christian mythos are widely known. Regardless of the reader's relationship with this mythos, most bring their own baggage and preconceptions with them to the series. This allows me to use the pages of the book to tell my story instead of building an entirely original history and power structures for the creatures contained within. As an example, all I have to say is Lucifer, and most readers, for good or ill, fill in the rest of his background based upon their own relationship with this deity. Feeling strongly that every story has two sides I wanted to examine a more logical and less fatalistic telling of how the living could fit into greater maturations of these commonly accepted gods. Personally, I felt it would be an exciting examination of the belief system of which I’d been raised and later rejected.

Journal 4
Two days ago I finished Journal of a Deadman 4. It is always great to complete a book, but now it goes to the editor. Never fun. It is slated for release in October. So keep a watch folks, I will be posting an excerpt in the next weeks.
