Editing The Laundrymen

The release date for the Kindle edition of the book is 1st Jan 2016. I have to have uploaded the final version of the book by 22nd of December. At the same time, I’m editing the printed version. It’s a great opportunity to re-write the bits that I originally wrote in a clumsy way in my haste to get it all down. I’m about 200 pages in so far. Not long to go! I just want it to be the best I can make it. Although I do think that having a proper editor would have been helpful .. (even though I don’t take criticism very well!)

On the final lap now .. Just have to read through it, make any last changes and then it’s done. Hurrah! Started this in October 2012, so it has taken over 3 years to get to this point.

The Laundrymen – Proofing the Print Copy

Today we received the digital proof of the print copy of The Laundrymen. This is the first time that we’ve seen how many changes it’s going to be. We now have to go through each page, making sure it is laid out the way we expected – and checking the text. It’s going to take a while ..
