Parents are the first & last to push or stand!

“Parents are the first & last to push or stand in the way of their child’s dream!
In my heart, I felt a torn feeling, a deep wound, and a question:
Why couldn’t my parents accept me? But I couldn’t blame them; they were not the type of family who could adapt to change. They were a Catholic family who believed that God gave us what we de-served. I was Catholic at heart, but in my mind, there was a call to dare to explore the blessings we were born to discover and the dreams we were on earth to pursue.
I knew that singing was not my dream, but…
Said Alexandra, in Chapter One of LIFE’S DETOURS: ALEXANDRA’S CHOICES… A family decision that made a woman out of a teen ager!
I will not spoil the story; I just woke up with a question: Are parents dream suckers at times?

Whichever the reason is, I say, hey pappa, hey mamma, let’s embrace dreamers!
