Lola Álvarez was one mexico’s first female journalist working out in the field. She became a powerhouse documenting Mexican life and was so successful she opened her own gallery space. Lola gave her friend Frida Kahlo her only solo show in Mexico. Just an amazing story of art, friendship, and women helping other women. ❤️
