EARTH DAY
In celebration of EARTH DAY, I thought I would post my painting of the Pololu Valley Lookout, on the North West corner of the Big Island of Hawaii.
Cheers to Mother Earth for bestowing us with this awesome vista. She provided us with clean water to drink, pure air to breathe, and non-polluted crops to eat. All She asks in return is that we take care of these gifts and keep it that way.
We are one, all Mother Earth’s children. I still have hope that in my lifetime I will see everyone, despite their race, ethnicity, religion, lack of religion, economic situation, sexual orientation, etc., treated with dignity. How hard is it, really, just to treat people the way you want to be treated?

“CRAZY FUN CAPER IN VENICE”

Characters both real and lovable - scary times with the dastardly and hilarity with the comic figures that could have hopped out of a Pink Panther continuation! From the posh to the paltry, they are all suspect, along with our dear protagonist, Carla! As she slips into her designer pumps and prepares to dash to her art exhibit opening ... but which one is the thief? Surely not her dear friend, nor the handsome Dario - whodonnit? I loved Pamela Allegretto’s first serious novel, and although this one is very different, her storytelling is just as powerful. Especially during these at-home times, I've enjoyed this lighthearted read immensely. Do read it if you want to be smiling at the end - and hoping to join captivating Carla on... another adventure?”

EASTER BUNNY VISIT
