Taking a Breath

With the release of Book II, I can breathe for about two seconds. :) While Book III is in the hands of an editor and I am polishing Book IV, I am excited to do another giveaway!

As soon as the print book of Seed of Scorn is available on Amazon (not sure what is taking so long) I will list another Goodreads giveaway.

I appreciate those that won last year's giveaways and posted a review. They are vital to us Indie authors. I hope you enjoy Seed of Scorn even more than The Rise of Nazil.

The Mehlonii Language

In The Rise of Nazil adult epic fantasy series, they speak a language called "Mehlonii." I have had numerous request asking what the language sounds like. After many hours, we have created sound files for each phrase used in the current book.

Seed of Scorn

I am enjoying listening to the final version of Seed of Scorn. After two professional edits, beta readers, a proofread and listening to the MS four times, I am ready to upload the final copy. Three sections were removed and the word count significantly reduced (just under 200k). I am pleased with the result and hope the readers will enjoy this continuing visit to the land of Faélondul.

There are MANY new developments, characters, and plot twists. Naturally, all of it is not good. What kind of story would that be, after all? It will be pleasing to see if the underlying meanings of some of those events are actualized. Every reader brings their background and experiences to each book they read. Interpretations differ. However, if I did my job well, these points will be conveyed in spite of that.
