Blame it on the Tequila - Teaser Tuesday!
“Do you ache for me, Nova?” he asked, backing me up against the wall like we were at the bar.
I was downright panting now and I had to lick my lips to bring moisture back to my mouth. He tracked the movement with first his eyes and then his thumb.
“I think I do,” I answered honestly. I didn’t know what this tightly coiled tension pulling all my focus into the center of my body was, but I knew I’d never felt it before. I thought about Parker all the time. I imagined kissing him and touching him, but nothing compared to the inferno that consumed me in this moment.
He cocked his head to the side, considering my answer. “Think? Do you touch yourself and think of me.”

Blame it on the Tequila - What do I like Best?
I was asked what I like best about the hero/heroine in the this story. Here we go!
I kind of love being able to write them as their teen selves when they first met. I love writing new adult romances.
With Nova, I really love how relaxed but stubborn and strong-willed she is. Sometimes it can work against her. But she is also the protective one fo the group of friends, so it was fun to write her kind of doing the crazy things in this novel.
Parker was fun to write because I always wanted to write a rock star. They're so much fun and lively and I really got to dive into his role in the dynamic of the band. He's also the level-headed one of the group, so he and Nova mesh well!
