A return to sweet romance …
When I released “Hard Press,” I wrote about how the characters pushed me out of my comfort zone. They were a little self-centered, a little vain. Not my usual “sweet guy” schtick. “Heart Trouble,” releasing Thursday, is a return to the sweet romance I tend to gravitate toward. I like my romances to bring together […]

Giveaway contest for my new book!
I wrote a guest blog for Two Chicks Obsessed book blog that includes a short excerpt of my new release coming Oct. 6 along with a giveaway contest.
You can find the blog here: http://twochicksobsessed.com/grl-2016...
I also write about how great m/m readers have been to an independent author like me, and how creating a FB group and interacting on social media has made a huge difference to me as I write these books. That's one reason I'm looking forward to attending GRL and meeting even more readers!
The blog includes a giveaway of one ARC copy of "Heart Trouble," coming Oct. 6. Two winners will have the chance to win their choice of "Hard Press" or the box set of the first four Ashe Sentinel Connections.
If you'd like a chance to participate, go check out my guest blog ASAP. I'm not sure when exactly the contest wraps up.

Making a move to Kindle Unlimited
As an emerging author, I'm doing my best to balance getting my books in front of all kinds of readers against my best opportunity to make sales.
As a result, after a wide release to online bookstores all across the web, I've moved the entire Ashe Sentinel Connections series -- including my newest release, Hard Press -- into Kindle Unlimited.
Kindle Unlimited requires me to make the books exclusive to Amazon. This means, sadly, that readers who prefer aRe or another bookstore won't be able to find them there. Fear not, I'm sure my books will return to wide release at some point.
In the meantime, if you have a Kindle Unlimited membership, you can read my books for free. And every read helps me improve my sales ranking, so that I can hopefully one day be found among the top 100, instead of buried in the top 100,000 or even lower.
If you're not in KU, you can still purchase the books on Amazon.

‘Hard Press’ is a new kind of novel for me
My latest novel, “Hard Press,” is releasing Aug. 18. And I think there will probably be some readers who will be surprised the same author wrote both “Catching Jaime” and “Hard Press.” Most of my earlier works, including “Catching Jaime,” tend to be sweet romances. There are varying levels of sex in them — ranging from […]

Catching Jaime available free through Kindle Unlimited
This week, Catching Jaime moved into Kindle Unlimited, free for those with subscriptions.
Catching Jaime is the sequel to Earning Edie, although it can standalone in the m/m genre for those who prefer not to read the first book in the series.

Earning Edie now free to read on Kindle Unlimited
Just a head's up that Earning Edie has moved to Kindle Unlimited.
Here's a synopsis of the story:
Edie Mason is disappointed but not surprised when her parents don't show up for her high school graduation. But after she inadvertently criticizes them in the newspaper, thanks to an unethical newspaper columnist in a deadline crunch, she finds herself homeless. Even worse, her dreams of going to college are at risk. Edie's days as a shrinking wallflower are coming to an end, however. Propelled by anger and desperation, she seeks out Nick Espinoza to give him a piece of her mind -- and an ultimatum: He made her homeless, so he can offer up his home as a place to stay while she works nonstop to earn college tuition.
Pressured by management, Nick is desperate to win over the hearts of readers -- and Edie Mason's story is a perfect start. He isn't prepared for the fall-out that follows, or for the lonely graduate to have so much spunk. Confronted by his mistakes, and consumed by guilt over his past, Nick finds himself opening his home -- and his heart -- to Edie. But can he ever come clean about his past and truly earn Edie's trust without losing everything?
You can also purchase a copy of the book on Amazon.

New book release with a discount!
It’s release day for “Catching Jaime,” my new adult gay romance! This is my first full-length novel to release in the m/m genre, so I’m pretty excited to see what readers think. It’s also a bit more serious than my Ashe Sentinel Connections series, which have most often been described as cute, sweet romances. Even better, […]

Order up! Hard Press available for sale now
It’s been a Hard Press for me to finish writing Book 5 of the Ashe Sentinel Series, but it’s up for pre-order now with an August release date! I originally planned to write this story immediately after Book 3, Rewriting His Love Life, where Julian first appears. In fact, I did write the first few scenes. Then […]

New release and excerpt!
I’ve been behind in my blogging, but have you ever written/edited two books at once, while writing author guest blogs and business blogs by day? I’m exhausted! Also, I’m a procrastinator, so there’s that. Enough with my excuses. I’m excited to say that “Catching Jaime” officially releases July 1. It’s available for pre-order now at […]
