“Every word I could think of was never enough to...

“Every word I could think of was never enough to explain.
Every thought, every memory only intensified the pain.
Every dream and every fantasy made me feel alive for those moments.
With every smile and every laugh, I imagined where I went.
Between what was to what is, I think I lost myself somewhere.
Dancing circles to the music as our eyes glisten and glare.
Am I here, or are you, or are we, or what is?
Reality melting as we lean in for a kiss.
The world slowly vanishing in the blur of the scene.
As we link hand in hand, closing the space in between.
Only you have somehow managed to capture my heart from its place.
Leaving only your fingerprints of passion as a trace.
Making me crave romance more than ever before.
Leaving me longing to hear your tender voice once more.
For no cure, no remedy can ever mend the scars of sorrow,
Of that which could have been in some tomorrow.” - Raneem Kayyali

“I love thee with such intensity that none can fathom in the slightest bit, with every ounce of your serenity that keeps my candle lit. I will love you till the end and back again, losing all sense of how and when.”- Raneem Kayyali
“Darkness in one hand, light in the other one.

“Darkness in one hand, light in the other one.
We decide which one to strengthen and which one to numb.
You have the problems and you have the answers too.
Which one you focus on is up to you.
Only one can be broken but the other never dies.
One shows you the truth and the other lies.
Duality, reality, perception play a role.
But with this, only you can decide and control.
Choose wisely which to nurture and which to silence indefinitely.
Because this decision will affect your soul infinitely.
Good and bad are both in your hands.
Let go of them and see which will break when it lands.” -Raneem Kayyali

“I see frozen sheets crawl upon the horizon
engulfing each bit with its tender coolness.
I hear the wind whistle sweet melodies
of a song long forgotten in the stillness.
I feel heaven’s mercy pierce through the atmosphere
as trickles of light spread across the land.
The mountain and all its might humbly stills
as dancing lights are splayed where it stands.
Clouds swim through the skies and for a moment,
all is silent as the light pierces through them once more.
Allowing the rays of love to light the shadows
that dare to cast down as they bore.
For the strength of love comes from a spark,
a trickle of hope in the shadows.
And wherever light leaves its prints,
love is sure to follow.” - @raneemkayyali
