May Updates from R.E. Carr

Hello, my fantastic Four fans.  I know it’s been a little quiet in R.E. Carr land, but that is because I have a few exciting announcements for May.  First off, I have been hard at work with an absolutely fabulous narrator to bring both Four and Six to Audible this year.  As soon as I have the date, you can bet I’ll be posting, but for now I wanted you all to meet the voice behind the Rules Undying Series . . .

Alejandra Reynoso is an actor best-known for her work on the animated Nickelodeon series Winx Club, where she voiced the sweet and well-meaning Flora the Fairy of Nature for 6 seasons and 2 films! 

Currently, you can hear Alejandra on Netflix's hit original video game adaptation Castlevania–the first ever video game adaptation to be certified "FRESH" on Rotten Tomatoes!

On Castlevania, she voices the sassy sorceress Sypha Belnades, alongside Richard Armitage (Berlin Station), Graham McTavish (Preacher), and James Callis (Battlestar Galactica)!

If that wasn’t enough exciting Rules Undying News for the week, I am happy to report that the final installment of the series, One, is off to the editors as we speak.  Yeah, I know, I started a series with Four and ended it with One, but I hope it all makes sense in the end.  It was the single most gut-wrenching story I’ve ever written and I cannot wait to share it with all of you.

In the meantime, I wanted to share a work from a fellow Kindle Press author and sci-fi aficionado, Jeffrey Haskell.  Here is a sneak peek at Intruder a little bit of military sci-fi to cleanse the palette after all these pesky vampires:

Bold, Exciting, New Efforts from R. E. Carr . . .

Spring is upon us, and I know I’ve been quiet as of late, but that is because the muse has struck me like a thunderbolt from Zeus.  I would like to present to you all a special preview of not one but two new masterpieces yanked straight from the most fruitful, creative fields of my mind.

We all knew that the saga started in Churning Desires and deepened in Raising the Barn could not end.  Thus, I present to you the latest epic staring everyone’s favorite Amish instrument of vengeance – Jedidiah Smuckers . . .

It’s been one year since the aliens hell-bent on destroying Pennsylvania were driven away, but at a terrible price.  No one has seen nor heard of Jedidiah Smuckers since he walked into the fire.  However, rumors of a man with a singular drive and purpose have surfaced from the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs training camp.  Could this be the living legend and noted switch-hitter, Jedidiah?  Destiny Lovegood simply must know!

January Updates from R. E. Carr .

Hello again, my fantastic Four fans.  I just wanted to pop out of my cavern to give a couple of exciting updates as we all start 2018.

First up, I am excited to announce that Zero, the penultimate installment of the Rules Undying series will be available exclusively on Amazon on February, 13th 2018.   I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did writing it . . .

In anticipation of Zero's release, Four, book one of the series, will be on sale until January 31st, and Six will be on sale until the 16th.

Ten will be on sale from January 17th through the 24th, and Point One Five will round out the sale from January 22nd through the 29th.  During these sale periods, you can get the eBook version of the book for only 99 cents!

Hello all my fantastic Four fans, and all the new people who joined my newsletter this month.  I hope you're having a wonderful start to winter unless of course, you are in the southern hemisphere, then I am insanely jealous as I'm shivering in New England.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and let everyone know that I will be announcing a release date for Zero, book five of the Rules Undying series shortly after the new year.

It’s that time of year – Halloween, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and a new release from R.E. Carr!  I am happy to announce that the fourth installment of the Rules Undying Series – Point One Five – will be available in Kindle and paperback version on October 31st, 2017.

If you haven’t checked it out yet the second part of my Agents series of shorts is available in Autumn Equinox and it’s absolutely free on Amazon.

Last, but not least, I am happy to announce that Six (Rules Undying book 2) is the winner of the 2017 RONE award for best Paranormal.  I can’t thank the staff of InD’tale Magazine enough for this honor!

But for now, I am hard at work finishing the last two books of my six-part “trilogy.” (Yes, I can hear the groans already, but I guess I just love writing in this series!)  I’ve already finished the first draft of Zero and am excited to announce that the final installment of the Rules Undying Universe – One – is in pre-production.  That’s just writer speak for I’m scribbling it out furiously on notebook paper before I forget anything!

September Updates from R. E. Carr

Hello, all my fantastic Four fans.  I can’t believe that summer is already winding down and we are about to enter the time of hoodies, Halloween, pumpkin spice everything.  I thought I would give you a quick roundup of everything that was keeping me so quiet recently.

I am happy to announce that the latest installment in the Rules Undying series, Point One Five, is currently being edited.  I hope to have this surprise book baby available this October!  I figured it was only fair that Gail Filipovic finally gets to tell her side of the story before it all comes to an exciting conclusion.

Speaking of conclusions, I can also announce that I’m almost halfway through drafting Zero, the last in the Rules Undying series.  I promise to keep you all updated as I get closer to finishing.

Since I am so excited about Rules Undying this month, I can also announce that both Four and Six are available until September 30th at a special price of 99 cents!  Who knows, maybe there will be more special promotions as we close in on the launch of Point One Five.

Finally, I haven’t forgotten about The Download universe.  If you haven’t already checked out the special prequel short, The Jumper, it is currently available for free in the Kindle Press author anthology Summer Solstice.  Its sequel, The Tutorial, will be available soon, and I’ll be sure to keep you posted!
