Dreaming of My Favourite Places

Cape May, New Jersey is by far one of my favourite places. OH such a lovely, restful, charming island of enchantment; that draws you in like a melodic tune and captivates your heart before it’s done playing. Private Seaside, Balmy Breezes, Beautiful Victorian Homes, Guest Houses, Inns, Bed and Breakfasts, Fine Dining, Casual Street-side Cafés, Quaint Shoppes, Artisan Galleries, Horse-Drawn Carriages, a Lighthouse, a Pebble Beach, a Winery, a Playhouse, Music, Wine and Art Festivals, Afternoon Teas, Leisurely Bike Rides, Long Quiet Walks, Sea Glass Hunting, all delivered with quiet, delicious, Victorian Flair.

These are just a few shots of the Cape May Winery, to pique your interest.

Shape my heart with Your

Ever Present Love

And Teach me to Sing with

For Only Then will I Live

I hear Your voice,
Sweet, Alluring, Delicious;
And My body quivers,
a Willow in November wind;
I have no choice.

I hear You breathe,
Hushed and Rhythmic,Seduction;
And My lips tremble,
betraying the Sweet Obsession
that lies underneath.

I feel Your Guile
Measured, Purposeful, Deliberate Plea;
And My eyes close,
Pulse Races and Reticence Scatters;
I see You Smile.

New Years Eve comes Once a Year,
Offering Laughter, Renewal, Good Cheer;
Filled with Hope, the Childing Year Smiles,
Presenting Perspective o’re the Past Year’s Trials,
Sifting New Joys with Goals Freshly Made,
Waving Goodbye to the Old, Grudges Fade;
Lifting our Eyes with Expectation,
New Challenges Faced without Trepidation.
Shine, Then, Under the Year End’s Jamboree,
And Walk towards the New with Resolution’s Guarantee.
