Friday Fantasy – While Acuity Dances
Bend Thoughts
To Instill Dreams
By Imaginary Means;
Comparing Reality
To Surrealist Themes.
Bending Perception
To Propagate Dreams;
Trade Constancy
For Unpredictability.
Ignite the Fire
Of Variability;
Spiral Visions
To Incite Dreams,
While Acuity Dances
To Implausible Melodies!

Friday Fantasy – Beyond
Beyond the Gates of Diabolical Time
Mystery consorts with Harmonious Rhyme
Whispering Sedition in Melodic Tones
Where Obligation dutifully drones.
.
Beyond the Portal of Imagination
Chance Waltzes with Sweet Conflagration,
Blazing Mutinous Intrepidity
While Compulsion mutters sanguinely.
.
Beyond the Threshold of Treacherous Ages
Inspiration Patiently turns the pages,
Sparking Delight in Young and Old,
Encouraging Dreams both Strange and Bold!

Interview with Cynthia Morgan
Author Lela Markham and I had a delightful natter about writing, Dark Fey and Alaska :)
Today’s interview is with Cynthia A. Morgan, author of Dark Fey. Welcome to the blog. Tell us something about yourself.
My name is Cynthia A Morgan, but I go by Morgan. Or ~Morgan~ if I’m feeling very Madonna-esque. Why you might ask? Well, the short version is that I am Welsh and Proud of it. The Long(er) version is that my Welsh father was named Morgan O Morgan VIIII and I am also very Proud of that. Naming the first born son Morgan O Morgan is a family tradition that dates back (in my family) to the 1500’s, but unfortunately my father had no sons to carry on the tradition; however, to honour him and the family, I use the name Morgan. It is my goal to eventually legally change my name to Morgan CA Morgan.
What a wonderful family story! At what point did you know you wanted to be…

Be Still
Sing to my Heart with Your Love,
Ever so Fine,
in Spiritual Rhyme,
Lifting me from my habitual Treason
Of uncertainty and perpetual reason,
Where I founder myself on the rocky shore,
Ever questioning Purpose,
Deliberately seeking for more.
When, rather, my Spirit longs to Be Still
In the Peace of Your Virtue,
In the Tempestuous Thrill
Of Closing my eyes to the rush of the day;
To be Calm,
To be Quiet,
And Unhurriedly Pray.

Crystalline Tears
Spilling from the Whispering Wind,
Delicate Upon the Frozen Breeze,
Caressing the mantle of the Barren Scape,
While the Blushing Matron of Morning
Hides her Gentle Smile,
Beguiled,
As the Winter Sky weeps Crystalline tears.
Arms Reaching from the Silent Wold,
Stillness Waiting Breathlessly;
Beneath the Vision, tumbling downward,
I walk in Wonder, Hushed and Humbled,
While Heaven fills the muted sky,
Intractable, yet Lovingly
Beguiled,
As the Winter Sky Weeps Crystalline Tears.
