Tapestry – #Sonnet 34

.

The Shape and Majesty of the Luminous Night,

Sings Splendid Vision to my Questing Sight,

Ever Calling to my Longing Gaze,

In Shifting Shadow and Spectral Haze,

While Diamonds Gleam from Distances Immense,

And my Fair Imagination is Drawn Hence,

To Tumble O’re Nebulae and Comet’s Tails,

To Float in Glimmering Silence as it Sails,

Throughout the Heaven’s Vast, Into my Mind,

Conspiring with Eloquence in Vivid Kind,

To Shake and Shimmer in Ebon Tapestry,

Where All Creation Dances in Glorious Soliloquy,

Until Time Itself Unravels, Until Eternity Unwinds,

Lifting from this Heathen Murk, Paradise, At Last, To Find.

Silence Sings – #MusicandMuseMonday #Love #Poetry

(Please click to play while reading)

.

Hush my Darling,

Draw Close

Without a word,

While all the Night Whispers

One Sweet Chord,

Spellbinding,

Enchanting,

In the Stillness with You,

My One,

My Only,

Forever

True.

Silence Sings her Intangible Song,

Yet my Heart Knows,

Unbeguiled,

This is where I Belong,

Beside You My Love,

In this Fair hour of Night,

Beneath the Gentle Heaven’s Glistening Light,

As Moonbeams Sing,

And Our Spirit’s Ring,

Together,

Harmonious,

Soft Serenades Begin

From the twilit shadows

Where Mystery Falls,

Yet I fear nothing,

Tremble not;

You Are

All in All.

Silence Sings

Her Sweet Melodious Rhyme,

Through Heartbeats,

Through Ages

Of Indistinct Time,

With You beside me,

As Midnight imbues,

Her shifting, hypnotic, velveteen hues;

Love Sings in this Silence,

A Timeless Sweet Song,

Never Hurried,

Everlasting,

Unbreakably Strong.

A Heartfelt Thank You

.

I am truly Blessed!  Blessed with Friends who are beyond compare and ‘followers’ (though I hate that word because really, you’re ALL Friends!) that are open to all the crazy notions I have.  YOU my dear friends mean the world to me and I Appreciate So Very Much how you support me and all my ventures.

I Also want to Thank my Guest Bloggers who have been helping to ‘fill in the gaps of silence’ on the weekends so I might take time away from BooknVolume in order to continue working on Dark Fey book three. (nope, no promotion intended).  I think they have been offering a wonderful variety of inspirational and beautiful material and I certainly hope YOU feel the same and have been well entertained by the addition of their voices to BnV.

So Thank You ALL of You :)  I do truly appreciate YOU and even in the hush when I am away, I am mindful of how fortunate I truly am.  Blessings to you in this Beautiful Season of Joy and Light.

OH…and Thats Thank You very Much in Welsh, by the by

All Because of Christmas (#guestblogger)

I walk through the city and see the lights

Red, green and blue, they shine so bright

Each house is lit up in the night

All because of Christmas

Merchants are smiling as people pay

For merchandise they bought that day

They smile as people shop and play

All because of Christmas

Churches are bustling with holiday fare

Candies and cookies abundant are there

The choirs are singing their songs of cheer

All because of Christmas

Families will gather from miles away

Have not been together for many a day

They get along fine and then go their way

All because of Christmas

But Christmas is more than shopping and food

More than the lights or family viewed

Christmas is when a baby was born

A long, long time ago

He was born in a stable that Holy night

Above shone a star of incredible light

Angels announced His birth that day

A long, long time ago

He did not come a good life to live

He came to die and to pardon our sin

Now we are free from guilt and shame

And live forever with Him

This Christmas you can enjoy the lights

The food and the family and presents all right

But please don’t forget that babe long ago

Who gave His life just for you

The Dream (Guest Blog for BnV)

Image: Pixabay

Things of beauty, gossamer fancies and rainbow dreams. The Dreamer weaves. The Great Emptiness gives a knowing look. Stardust flows from her hands and wondrous mysteries from her thoughts.

Billions upon billions of stars, diamond bright and filled with unceasing fire sing their songs of praise. They know what it is to be born from the depths of the furnace. They live with a passion untouched by doubt. There is no death, only immortality. There is no sadness, only joy.

She is the eternal mercy, compassion and love. These gifts she weaves into matter, flesh and blood. To dream is her gift, an act of creation and regeneration. She is the Mother and the Father. She is the beginning and the end. Such gifts She passes to Her twin. The Universe thus continues its cycle of being.

She has knowledge of all in the Great Dream, memories vanishing like mist at dawn, upon Her awakening. At such time her twin emerges from the Cosmic Egg, birthed from thought and sound. She gazes at the image of her future self. He is in a reflective mood. Creator gazing upon Creator’s visage. He was She once. One birthed the other. To dream is to gain knowledge of the Soul. She dreams him into being, thus was his work set out. He dreams her into being in the cycle to come.

The writer ends his tale with those words. The pen is gently laid on the table, an intricate instrument worthy of admiration. He gazes at it for an age. The Universe is not what they imagine; it is filled with veil upon veil. Multiverses upon multiverses. Each like a tributary flowing into an unending river.

Foolish imaginings so is his work dismissed by the learned of his day. The more he unveils reality the more they fear his words. How little they understand of his true role in the shaping of their world and many others beyond that. His words give form to dreams. His Soul is the chalice of creations. He is a Dreamer.
