A Wonderful Introduction to a very unique, exceptionally exciting tale that I highly recommend. I’ve enjoyed Book One and Two myself and am chomping at the bit for the finale

Holiday Hiatus

.
Yep, I’ll probably be doing a bit of that this weekend. Who knows what else, but as it’s a holiday (well, a US holiday, anyway) and I’ll be with my Dear One

I might be hiding, but I’ll be thinking about you, and hoping you’re enjoying a wonderful weekend and upcoming week. And even if all you’re doing is relaxing, as I’m sure I shall be, Happy 4th if you’re from the US and Happy Weekend if you’re from the rest of the planet

Because we all need a laugh now and again, I simply had to share this snippet that I stumbled across in an old email
Delight – #50WordStories – #MicroFiction

Delight wreathed the shadows of the morning like fluttering curtains on the dancing breeze. Under the balm of the waking sun, we closed our eyes and sighed, luxuriating in the warmth surrounding us, within and without. Delight had never been more palpable or surreal, nor had you, my ethereal love!

Field`Workers — Gathering Stones Strung on Threads
See them working the fields in this fierce heat White shirts over bent backs red ball`caps on their heads planting seedlings down endless rows never looking to either side At first glance they look like pelicans grubbing for grain These are not birds but the field`workers assuring us of fresh greens when we push shopping […]
