Seraphans!!!!

Received a great email today from Joe Tomlinson in Phoenix. He thinks The Seraphinium has been great so far and is looking forward to the fourth and final book. (Due within the next few weeks, I promise!!!)

Anyhow, Joe said he was a "big Seraphan" and hooked a few friends onto the series.

All I know is "Seraphan" rocks and I am so stealing that phrase for all marketing hence forth!

So calling all Seraphans. Let's get some reviews and ratings on Goodreads.

Thought on religion.

Ask yourself this: What was Christ trying to accomplish? If the answer is; Convince people he was God, then whether he walked a road of complete delusion or that of pure truth, he is an unqualified success.

BEST Fantasy related Rock-n-Roll

What are the best Rock-n-Roll songs about or related to Fantasy Fiction? This question popped into my head last night so I asked it on a thread at sffworld.com. Head there if you would like to join the discussion.BEST Fantasy related Rock-n-Roll I started the list with the obvious entries below.

Led Zeppelin
Ramble On
A tribute to Tolkien's poetry & LOTR. Runner up mention to Misty Mountain Hop and The Battle of Evermore.

Jimi Hendrix
All Along The Watchtower
Musical imagery equivalent to a Frazetta drawing. A shout out to Bob Dylan, but Hendrix and the Experience infuse Dylan's composition with the power it needs to be a Fantasy classic.

Jefferson Airplane
White Rabbit
The definitive link between the 60's counter-culture and Fantasy Literature. Zeppelin transported us from present day into a fantasy world. Airplane dragged the fantasy world into present day.

Big Sur

Spent a few days in Big Sur country California. A little hiking and a lot of food and wine. There might not be a more impressive place on Earth. It's a crucible of nature. The ocean, the mountains, and the land in between. The vegetation goes from dry and stunted to lush and green.

Most impressive were the redwood groves. Dark and shadowy places where you lose sight of what towers so high above you. The groves transport you in time and make you respect nature in a way most Midwesterners don't understand. We live in a control and confined nature in the Midwest. The land has been scoured and scraped of its true self. I recommend a visit to Big Sur to wake your senses up to the beauty of what surrounds you.

Paris

Paris. WOW! My family and I are enjoying the end of summer in Paris and the Bordeaux coast. The two free book promos from last week have been fantastic. Nearly 3000 books given away and a steady stream of return customers for Books 2 and 3.

When I return from France it will be time to plunge headlong into the final rewrite of Book 4, the conclusion.

Fantastic Success

After one and a half days, the Giveaway Promo for BOOK I of THE SERAPHINIUM has been a tremendous success. Currently, we've moved over 700 books to the reading public and watched the ranks of all three of the released Seraphinium books soar.

BOOK I in particular shot up the Amazon charts peaking around the 290th overall Kindle book.

Additionally, BOOK I rose to #16 on the Kindle Free Fantasy Novels chart and #4 on the Kindle Free Epic Fantasy Novels chart.

Getting the books to the public is only step one. Hopefully, they read and enjoy them, returning later to purchase more in the series and write reviews.

Good reading to all.
