| Fascinating look at what life is. A wonderful short study about the meaning of life and time. Reminds me of Isaac Asimov Last Question. Well worth reading. | |

      “Life's greatest miracle is ours every day, and we do not even perceive it much less appreciate it;
 That every meal we eat to nourish our own uniqueness we partake of the world, the whole earth's bounty. From the seas of foreign lands to the range of our own little home lands these crumbs of the planet's bounty are miraculized to become energetic, thinking, creative you and me.
The miracle not only of uniqueness, but the Cosmic given the ability to perceive and foster our own uniqueness, as our particular way of contributing to the evolution of our own little world. ”

 I can't find how to answer your question--I hope this works. "2323" came out when I was a teenager, years and years before Dave and I wrote Exordium. It had no influence on us. Dave had never heard it. He didn't listen to rock and roll, strictly classical.

Andy, What interests me is the idea that consciousness creates reality which seems to be the opposite of abiogenesis. Since the creator is the ultimate consciousness then what I hear Tom describing is the idea of matter synthesized from consciousness.

And the fractal on the cover speaks volumes as to the games being played.
This interview with Tom Campbell may interest you, he talks about our reality as a simulated program.
