Unfortunately, today’s YouTube Livestream Read-Aloud and Minion Horde Hangout has been cancelled, as Pibling Z isn’t feeling well. But (assuming Pibling Z will be feeling well again by then) next Friday, things will continue as normal. Until then, please let any of your fellow Minions know what’s going on, nibble on your zebra cakes, and remember…Pibling Z loves you.

Livestream Schedule:

Every Friday and Saturday

1pm EST, Noon CDT, 11am MT, 10am PST

Livestream Location: PIBLING Z’S YOUTUBE CHANNEL

SOULBROKEN News!

It’s been seven years in the making, Minions, but I am thrilled out of my mind to share with you the cover and release date for Legacy of Tril: Soulbroken! It’s coming your way August 4, 2020, so get ready! And don’t forget to PRE-ORDER NOW! (Please note: other formats will be announced as soon as they are available for pre-order)

Here’s the description! (Spoiler alert: if you haven’t read Soulbound, you may want to avoid this description)

Sometimes you have to break the rules to discover the truth.

In this long-awaited follow up to LEGACY OF TRIL: SOULBOUND, Healer Kaya is shocked to learn that she is Soulbound to Darius, the Barron she secretly trained with at Shadow Academy. But when Darius is sent away before she can get answers, Kaya is left with no choice but to follow. Kaya wants nothing more than to understand how it is that Darius could be Soulbound to two Healers and prove herself worthy of fighting in the war against the Graplar King, but Tril is a vast and dangerous place, and her journey is full of unexpected obstacles—such as her parents having gone missing and Graplars attacking Unskilled villages more and more.

Also unexpected is the mysterious Barron named Gage who she befriends in her travels. But not all is what it seems. Darius has shocking information about Gage—information that changes everything Kaya thought she knew about what it means to be Soulbound.

NINTH GRADE SLAYS…But With Sock Puppets…?

Back in 2013, Z and their family reenacted the fly scene from NINTH GRADE SLAYS…with sock puppets.

You Minions asked for it, and here it is.

(No flies were harmed in the making of this video.)

Special thanks go to:

Paul Brewer as Henry

Jacob Brewer as Vlad

and Alex Brewer as The Fly

The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod Read-Alouds??

Minions, this pandemic sucks. We all can agree on that. Being quarantined also sucks. But ya know what doesn’t suck? Hanging out with other Minions during my YouTube Lives as I read from the five Vlad Tod books! Due to copyright issues, these videos can’t be saved online, so you’ve gotta grab the moment and come participate live, but it’s so much fun! I finished Eighth Grade Bites today, but sometime next week, I plan to start reading Ninth Grade Slays. BE SURE TO SUBSCRIBE SO YOU DON’T MISS OUT! The last two hangouts were FANGtastic!

Who Wants teh Spoopy?!

Hey, Minions! As if Soulbroken being released in August and Into the Real being released in October weren’t enough…I have a story featured in the upcoming anthology Don’t Turn Out the Lights: A Tribute to Alvin Schwartz’s Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark! Headed your way September 1, 2020.

I absolutely LOVED Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark when I was younger, and still love those stories today. Honestly, I’d be hard-pressed to pick a fave. So I can’t tell you how excited I am to have contributed to this anthology. My story is called “Whistle Past the Graveyard”.

Check out this cover!
