Revenant: The Undead King Releases October 16!

Revenant: The Undead King (Records of the Ohanzee Book 5) will be released October 16, 2018!
A strange discovery I’ve made as a writer is that no two books are the same. Each one has a different feel, a different rhythm, a different personality. The more I write the more the story becomes almost a living, breathing thing with a life of its own. Ironically, The Undead King has been the most “lively” of all the books I’ve written so far, revealing twists and turns even I was unaware of until they began to appear on the page in front of me. Sometimes it’s a bit difficult to tell if I’m writing the story, or if the story is writing itself.
Although I am excited to have this book in your hands as quickly as possible, I have learned that there are some things that simply can’t be rushed–and the editing process is definitely one of them! It does seem fitting for The Undead King to be released during the spookiest month of the year–perhaps that’s what the book had in mind all along. ^_-

Revenant: The Undead King Cover Reveal
Today marks the one year anniversary of the release of Records of the Ohanzee Book 4–happy book birthday to Reflection: Dragon’s Bane! In honor of the occasion, I have a surprise for all of you–the cover reveal for the upcoming Revenant: The Undead King (Records of the Ohanzee Book 5).

The cover was once again designed by the talented West Coast Cover Design!
Look for Revenant: The Undead King to release this summer. I’ll post updates here as the time draws nearer, or you can sign up for my newsletter (here) to receive a notification by email when the release date is set.

Upcoming Giveaways and Announcement
Since December can be quite a busy month–and its also the season for giving–I wanted to post in advance about several upcoming giveaways I have planned for this month. Be sure to enter for a chance to win a little something from me to you. ^_^

From December 1-14 on Instagram: I’ll be hosting a “Treat Yourself” themed giveaway for my followers. The items included won’t be announced until the giveaway starts on December 1 (this coming Friday!), but I’ll be giving hints on my Instagram Stories over the next few days. As the Treat Yourself theme suggests, they’re all items intended to help the lucky bookworm relax and unwind while curled up with a good book.

Because of the great response, I’ve decided to extend the sale on Reflection: The Stranger in the Mirror a few more days indefinitely. Since there’s a limit on the number of days the book can be offered for free, I’ve made the e-book version available for $0.99 instead of $4.99. The sale price will be available through midnight PDT on Sunday (11/19/17).

I’m happy to announce the launch of a newly updated interior formatting for the books in the Records of the Ohanzee series. You can see an example of the new design in the photo below.

The change I’m most excited about is that each POV character now has a unique icon in the chapter heading!

The first story arc of the Records of the Ohanzee series came to a conclusion in book 4, Reflection: Dragon’s Bane, but that doesn’t mean the adventures are over! Nerissa’s and the Ohanzee’s tale continues in:
