WHAT YOU BREAK on Scotts Top Ten of 2017 (So Far)

The second Gus Murphy novel has the reluctant detective working two cases involving past sins. A perfect balance between a a hard boiled detective tale and a multi-faceted and emotional character study.

Terry Ambrose on WHAT YOU BREAK

Exceptional descriptions of setting, including areas on the wrong side of the tracks, create a vivid canvas on which Coleman paints a multi-layered, compelling story with a cliff-hanger ending sure to leave readers anxious for the sequel.
