Release Day! The Scenic Route

June 1st! While a good part of me is quivering with denial and wants to hide because this means half the year is gone - yes! Gone! The other part is excited because The Scenic Route is now available at Dreamspinner Press.

Summary: It's the first time Ed Baldwin has ever taken his boyfriend Joe Sutton home to meet his parents, and nervous, he keeps trying to pick a fight with Joe to relieve his stress while they drive. When Joe's had enough, they pull over in a very small town where the choice ...

Memorial Weekend Festivity Ahead

There's the obligatory festive boating, camping, grilling, and imbibing to be had - at least in my home state.

For those less fond of mosquito bites and sunburn, there's the blow-out M/M posting over at Literary Nymphs Chat Yahoo Group all weekend long. So far over 30 authors have promised to be there, with more sure to show.

Sunday you can stop by Gay Day at Ethan Day's Yahoo Group!

As well as visit the Talking Two Lips Yahoo Group and see what's new with the Dreamspinner Authors.

That's a busy ...

Mid May Updates & a review for After the Storm

Hey world! I lost about a week and a half there. How about you?

Right now I'm strongly resisting my rabid urges to redo my website instigated by you-know-who-you-are *wink*. I'm not overly enthused with the template choices though, which helps in the resisting.

The tulips are on their last, wind-blown legs, the iris are just about ready to bloom, and the poppy has 3 (!) blossoms on the way. Phlox are phloxing, the chocolate chip ajuga is a carpet of electric blue and mixing wonderfully with th...

How about some Monday Reviews?

Not only a new week, but a new month as well!

I'll start the Monday off with a few new reviews for Start From the Beginning .

4 Stars from Night Owl Romance Reviews: Reading these characters' interactions - from Drew trying to ignore Miles, to Miles having none of it in his own way - and the progression of how their thoughts change, to reading how those changing thoughts translate into actions made this a wonderful little novella.

and, a grade of Excellent from Jenre over at Well Read: It was...

A new soldier enters the battle

Periodically I've commented across the web that I'm interested in people's view on their various models of eReaders. Never prone to hasty decisions my dithering has been going on for a year or more despite the absolute raves eReader fans have given the devices.

The big stopper? It always come back to the inner voice which loudly states 'well, if you're going to spend the money then just get a laptop with all its multiple uses'. For those curious as to just why I've yet to even take the laptop...
