Nah, that's not really the title, but it should have been, shouldn't it? Or am I the only one to remember the 1972 movie and book my subject is a take-off of? Hmmmm. Anyway, since I'm always working on my Social Media Knowledge Base (notice the all caps *wink*), I thought this article by Annie Neugebauer over at Writer Unboxed was one of the best I had read in a long time on the Art of the Retweet. Her article covers all the bases, is concise, clear, and better yet, she has examples. Who could ask for anything more? Hang out w/Nasa & Star Trek - today at 12 p.m. EST
What are you doing on your lunch hour? Grab your brown bag, your laptop, and check this out: NASA is playing host to a Google+ Hangout today, matching up J.J. Abrams, director of the new Star Trek films (the excellent 2009 reboot and the currently debuting Star Trek Into Darkness), screenwriter Damon Lindeloff, three cast members from the movie (you got your Kirk, you got your Sulu, and a new character played by actress Alice Eve) — with actual, real-life space explorers. These include NASA flight engineer Christopher Cassidy, who currently lives aboard the International Space Station, as well as Earth-dwelling astronauts Michael Fincke and Kjell Lindgren. The group will be taking questions — hopefully many on the awesome, inevitable collisions between science fiction and the cutting edge of technology, scientific experimentation and human knowledge.
The hangout starts at 12 p.m. EST and will last about 45 minutes. You should be able to watch it live here and here.

Who will inherit your copyrights?
Like many authors, I hadn't given much thought to the idea of including my copyrights into my estate planning. After all, my main focus was on writing new work. Besides, my latest will update had been signed long before I became brave enough to submit my first story. But a series of very blunt conversations with greatly-missed friend and author, Patric Michael changed my mind, and I went back to the estate plan drawing board.
